Asset Recovery Corporation (ARC) is an IT asset management company that manages surplus technology for businesses, governments and municipalities.

We opened our first eBay account in March of 1999.  Since then, we have grown to become a very dependable source for quality used, off lease, and overstock computers, electronics, test and industrial equipment.   We are Platinum Power Sellers and have maintained a 98% (or better) Positive Feedback Rating for all of our eBay Seller Ids.  We are currently listed by eBay as being in the top 1% of all eBay electronics sellers.

Payment Policies

Payment is due within 7 days after the auction ends.

Purchases made in MN will be charged 7.625% sales tax.

We accept payment PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Payment via PayPal must ship to your confirmed PayPal address. Payments made by credit card must ship to your billing address.

Shipping Policies

We exclusively ship to the lower 48 United States. We ship via UPS Ground and Common Carrier (Freight); we cannot ship to PO, APO or FPO Boxes.

Items generally ship within 2-3 business days of receipt of payment – Usually earlier. An email will be sent with tracking information the evening an item ships.

Customer Pickups

Items may be picked up by appointment at our Minnesota facility; prepayment is required. Pickup hours are 1pm – 4pm Monday through Friday. We are closed weekends and holidays.

Items Listed With a Warranty

Our warranty guarantees that the item will work as described in the body of the ad. It also guarantees that the item will come with the components explicitly listed and shown in the ad.

Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the function of the item are not covered under warranty. We do not accept returns based on user error, misuse, software or driver issues, or “buyer’s remorse”.

Repairs or alterations by a third party will render the warranty null and void.

Items Listed AS/IS

Items sold AS/IS do not come with a warranty. We do not accept returns on items sold AS/IS.

Warranty Returns

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number is required for warranty returns. An RMA may be requested at any time within the stated warranty period (counted from date of delivery). Please contact Customer Service to initiate an RMA.

Returns must be packaged in the original or equivalent packaging, with the RMA number clearly printed on the outside of the box. Returns that are damaged in shipping due to inadequate packaging will not be processed.

All returns are at the buyer’s expense.

Valid warranted returns will be tested within three business days of receipt. An email will be sent when the item has been received and processed.

A warranted item that is determined to be DOA will be repaired or replaced. A refund will be issued if we are unable to repair or replace the item.
If a returned item is found to be functional as advertised, the buyer has the option of paying to have the item returned. After 30 days, the item is assumed abandoned and becomes the property of Asset Recovery Corporation.
