This commitment to providing the finest products and best service possible to our customers was the concept that brought the Wuesthoff family, and others, together to provide Milwaukee with an automotive dealership that would satisfy the growing demand for imported cars and trucks.

"Where Service Makes the Difference" has been our underlying philosophy for over forty years. Concours Motors opened for business on January 2, 1955 with 13 employees and has grown to over one hundred employees today. We have been a Volkswagen dealer continuously since we first started in business. We also opened that day with Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, which we also currently handle, although not continuously from the beginning. The BMW franchise was acquired in 1972, Mazda was acquired in 1977 and Saab in August of 1995. Concours also sold Sterling automobiles from 1987 to 1991.

Concours Motors has been at three locations over the years. Our facility requirements have grown considerably since the beginning 3710 N. Oakland Ave. Having outgrown that location, we built a new state-of-the-art facility at 1935 W. Silver Spring Dr. in 1960. Six years later we built again and moved in August of 1966 to our current location at 1400 W. Silver Spring Dr. This served us well until late 1989 when the growth of business and need for an updated look demanded we expand again and remodel. The focus of the expansion centered on the need to better serve our customers and featured new sales facilities with five separate showrooms highlighting the distinctive differences in our line of products, a new service reception center, larger wholesale and retail parts spaces and more comfortable waiting areas for our customers. The project was completed in August of 1990. This proved to work out very well until mid-1996 when it became clear we needed to make more changes to accommodate the needs of the market place. 1997 saw us involved in additional remodeling and expansion, giving our Mercedes-Benz franchise a new showroom and providing more space at our service reception lanes to meet growing demands.

The growth of Concours Motors has been made possible by dedicated employees taking the best care of our customers, who always come first. As a company, Concours Motors has been sharing a vision of where the company is going. We encourage customer responsiveness by being better organized. This involvement helps to make the company more customer friendly, efficient and profitable. Exceptional longevity with the company has been commonplace throughout our history. Many of our department heads started by washing cars or changing oil and have gone on to award winning careers spanning 30 years or more. Our technical staff are experts with product experience spanning decades. Consequentially, there are many people who have contributed greatly to the success and growth of the company.
