my adventures ..fisherman, hunter, prospector explorer Hi....I want to introduce myself to you today.   I am John Belcik and I live nestled in the Mountains in a very small town of Cooper landing Alaska.   I am sitting here and it is snowing outside and I can see mountains from all four sides of the cabin. I live in a small cabin with an electric light bulb and a computer connection,   a wood heater and a refrigerator to keep my food warm......The Kenai lake is about 100 yards away: the headwaters of the kenai river is less then a 1/2 mile away by water. I am near the confluence of the Russian and Kenai rivers and about 15 miles from hidden lake, cooper lake and skilak lakes.  I am here living my childhood dreams. I live and work on my best friends horse ranch and assist him in the summer taking people for horseback tours throughout the area...This year I intend to be the wrangler that takes people on some of our all day and overnight trips. In the winter time I try to stay warm and drive a taxi cab part time in soldotna and Kenai.  I mess around with the stock market ...AND...I started this ebay thing one day when I was looking for something to do on the computer to keep me out of trouble and have gotten hooked on ebay....I have so many things to sell and have a lot of gold.  It has been fun. I just got back from a three week world class horseback hunting trip into the kenai mountains.  I was very fortunate this year and drew my first  hunting permits (two of them) ...I was fortunate to bag a record book caribou and a really nice moose.  I also spent about 6 weeks this last summer in a camp on skilak lake and caught some really trophy rainbow trout and dolly varden. I also wore my arm out catching sockeye salmon (we had a great run this year)  I do prospecting when I can and help work on a mine on quartz creek. hope to do a lot more of it this next year as I have a bigger  boat that will get me to some new remote places.     I have a daughter and a son and they are both doing great.....my daughter lives in alaska and my son is an engineer in Texas   am very proud of them.....   ....I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and bidding on some of my stuff....Let me know what you think and...if anyone sees a blazing error or something I might do to improve on things...feel free to let me know....I really do accept constructive criticism.    I have named my store  jbiadventures........who would ever search for that....lol  but it is what I like and it stands for John Belcik interests and adventures.....this means I have to depend on you and everyone to shout across the world about my store.
