Special Announcement 6-2-09:  We have a lot of Store Listings for Addco sway bars.  Some of these bars have been delayed for as long as 3-4 weeks lately.  We have a lot of them here, and hundreds on order with Addco currently.  Unfortunately at this point about 75% of our Addco sales are being drop shipped directly from Addco for the time being.  Addco has been instructed to fill all our drop ship and customers orders before sending us our stocking orders.  This is great because it gets customers orders filled as quickly as possible, but on the flip side it just continues the cycle we're in where our inventory isn't being restocked.  Addco is currently behind on their production and inventory is changing very very quickly.  We cannot keep up with the inventory changes without calling them hourly.  One day they have none in stock, the following day they'll have 20.  Addco is doing the best they can to get caught up on production.  We are posting this Announcement as mentioned in all our Ebay listings rather than end all of our Addco listings.  Some bars are shipping from our location that day, some are shipping from Addco the following day, some ship out a week later, and some that are in production may take a couple weeks.  It is changing for each part number by the hour.  If you are in a hurry to receive your item, please contact us BEFORE placing your order so we can check our inventory or contact Addco for an inventory status at their location.  There is nothing we can do to speed up this process and all we can do is wait for them to get caught up.  It is a very frustrating situation for everyone.  EVERY single dealer that stocks Addco merchandise is in the same exact position.  Some have even stopped selling the brand temporarily until Addco is fully stocked again.  With hundreds of part numbers though, that could take a while.  Again, contact us BEFORE purchasing to request an order ETA on Addco products until this posting is removed.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  Why haven't we pulled all our listings?  We did...and then we were bombarded by emails from customers wanting to purchase bars regardless of the delay as we're the only company that sells or stocks many of the part numbers Addco offers.  So...we've opted to go about it this way.

Update 10/14/09: This is still the situation with Addco.  Most bars are shipping out from here again, but some are still on delay with the manufacturer and being drop shipped.  Again, please contact us BEFORE ordering to verify stock status of any parts.

We carry over 1000 manufacturers and stock what we sell. Is it all on Ebay? No, not even close. Only about 10% of our actual inventory is on Ebay at this point.

If we don't answer your through Ebay Messages - we didn't receive it. We answer ALL emails and messages. 7 days a week most of the time... If we don't reply after a couple days, email us and include the item number. In depth questions should be emailed to us since Ebay's Message System doesn't allow for conversations to be easily tracked when there are multiple replies. We get over 300 emails a day - we cannot remember everything/everyone, but we try.

Backorders & Shipping: It stinks, but sometimes it happens.  We sell a lot of merchandise through many different avenues.  We sell on our own website, through Ebay, Email, Phone and in our own Retail Showroom.  Inventory is constantly moving in and out.  It happens from time to time that a part sells on Ebay that we don't have available to ship.  Parts sell on our website and the listing isn't pulled, or inventory count is off slightly.  Although not intentional, it happens.  When this happens, we will contact you as soon as we are aware of the situation and give you the option to either wait, cancel, or modify your order.  If you choose to wait, that is your decision.  Don't tell us you'd like to wait, and then leave us negative feedback because you've chosen to do so.  All Eta's we provide you are ESTIMATED, thats what the "E" stands for.  We don't have a crystal ball, nor do we have control over manufacturing or freight companies.  We will provide you with the best information we have available to us from the manufacturer and suppliers.  We do not lie to customers, and we do not intentionally mislead customers.  Playing games does nobody any good.  Obviously we aren't going to get your item in and sit on it for a week before shipping it out to you.  If you've chosen to wait, at any time, please feel free to contact us for an update and we will be happy to contact our suppliers and find out what sort of time we're looking at for delivery.

We don't spend each day going through our 3000+ listings and verifying daily that every item is in stock and ready to go that day.  Most of our listings are on Ebay for 30 days at a time and then relist themselves automatically.  When we put them on Ebay, they're in stock.  We do check everything periodically, but as stated before, inventory rotates very quickly.  We NEVER intentionally list an item on Ebay that we know is not in stock and unavailable.  That would just plain be stupid...

 

In Store Pickup: We are a true speed shop and a Retail Store.  We aren't selling out of our parents basement.  We're the real-deal.  If you prefer to pick up a part at our store, we welcome you to do so.  We enjoy dealing with customers face to face.  Please contact us prior to purchasing though to verify that the piece is at our location and available for in-store pickup (see below).

 

Shipping Locations: We keep a ton of inventory here at our facility and in our warehouse.  We don't have millions of dollars to spend on stuff to all sit on our shelves though.  For some parts and some brands, we utilize warehouse distributors to stock product for us.  Through agreements with them, they are to have X number of parts on their shelves for us.  This helps us keep delivery times up, and costs down.  Pretty much everyone in this industry does the same thing, although they'll never tell you straight up that they do.  This works perfectly as some parts and brands sell better on one coast than they do on others.  If you're in WA and the manufacturer is in CA, we're going to drop ship your product from the manufacturer so you get it three days sooner than shipping it from our warehouse in MI.  That just makes sense.  For some parts, they just plain arent popular items.  We do not have room in our warehouse for an item that only two pieces a year sell.  That is what Warehouse Distributors are for.  For most manufacturers we're provided with tracking numbers which we ALWAYS email to customers when we have it available to us.  Some don't.  We can contact them for it upon request, but please take a moment to check your junk mail folder before contacting us - you may have it already.

 

Shipping insurance: If you do not purchase the optional shipping insurance then YOU have made a decision to accept that the package may arrive damaged due to mishandling by the carrier, and you have accepted that the package may get lost completely by the carrier. If YOU don't purchase this optional insurance, then we don't purchase this optional insurance for your package. This is a risk YOU take by not purchasing that optional insurance. If your item arrives damaged, or does not arrive due to loss by the carrying company (Fed Ex, USPS or UPS), and YOU did not purchase the optional insurance, YOU are out of luck (to put it bluntly). A damage or loss claim will not be opened in these cases as this is a risk YOU have chosen to take. We offer shipping insurance at a discounted rate through Ebay to entice people to take advantage of it. If you do purchase insurance and the item arrives damaged, or gets lost by the carrying company, we will open a claim for you immediately (please see Our Policies above to make a claim).   Once a package leaves our facility, or one of our suppliers facilities and is accepted by the carrying company - IT IS OUT OF OUR HANDS.  No damage or loss is the cause of our actions, and is the responsibility of the carrier.  This is why shipping insurance is offered to you and highly suggested.
