First There Were The Cars...
Then More Car Things...
In October of 1997 I stumbled across a
link that directed me here to eBay. It's
been interesting to say the least. I wish I'd have thought of it! Anyway, I
believe that Internet businesses, like
eBay and so many others will grow and
change the way items are bought & sold
for years to come. Thanks to the folks at eBay for making this possible. They
are smart enough to realize the value of making improvements to better serve
all of us...and that's a good thing!
Cars and Old Service Station Collectibles
Briefly, I've loved cars ever since I
can remember. In 1990 I discovered the
world of Petroleum Collectibles..the
next (logical) step for a "Car Nut".
I had seen lots of reproduction stuff
coming out in the late 1980's, but in the Fall of 1990 one man's collection
changed my outlook forever! I then
realized that original stuff was
out there and being discovered all the time!
What a great excuse to go to Carlisle,
local swap meets, auctions, gas & oil
shows and now eBay!
