To mark the unveiling of the new "You've Got Pictures" service - the
exclusive online photo service for America Online members to view, share
and store pictures online - AOL and Kodak asked top Hollywood celebrities
to share a day in their lives through photography. The "You've Got
Pictures" service (AOL Keyword: Pictures) will offer a sneak peek at dozens
of never-before-seen photos taken by or featuring Mark Wahlberg, star of
Boogie Nights and The Perfect Storm, as well as this summer's blockbuster
Planet of the Apes; Edward Burns, star of Saving Private Ryan, and
director, producer and star of the upcoming Sidewalks of New York;
distinguished film actress, producer and activist Melanie Griffith; and
legendary actor Peter Fonda, star of the upcoming HBO special The Laramie
Project and the upcoming film Wooly Boys.
Selected, autographed versions of these photos are now available for
purchase through this auction event, with all proceeds benefiting the
celebrities' chosen charities including the The Mark Wahlberg Youth
Foundation (Wahlberg), National Multiple Sclerosis Society (Burns), Follow
Your Heart (Griffith) and Montana's Livingston Memorial Hospital (Fonda).
All of the photos can be viewed on the "You've Got Pictures" service at AOL
Keyword: Pictures.
In addition, AOL and Kodak are holding a MY TOWN national photo contest. To
participate in the contest, AOL members are asked to submit photographs
that demonstrate how they celebrate summer in their town. The winner will
receive a FREE concert for their town! Details can be found at AOL Keyword:
My Town.
