More than just good deals... Here's what we currently offer:
Serving Oklahoma since early 1992,and the cyber-world via ebay since January2003...We earn our living by helping good folks like you get quality products at honest "bargain" prices without sacrificing service like many people do at those "giant superstores" and "mega-marts".
Our ebay site is operated by me, your pal B.J. ... the listed "owner" of all publishing rights to all the EXCLUSIVE poems we offer. If you visit Poetry.com, you may have spotted a few of our poems published there per "B.J.Westfall","B.Westfall" (thanks to a typo accident),or "Bill Westfall". If you own the 1990 release (hardback) "Great Poems of the Western World-Volume 2" published in 1990 by World of Poetry Press, you may also be familiar with Bill's first published work.
Over the past few years, I have permitted Poetry.com to publish a number of our poems, each usually winning us an award certificate accompanied by a request for permission to publish the applicable verse in one or two of their anthologies royalty-free for publicity. Sometimes, I decide not to do so, as the tiny group of poets I work with all, like myself, put a lot of work into creating each one of our poetic verses as close to "perfect"(as we receive them usually as revelations from the greater Spirit)as we can.
Although less than one poem per thousand in my ownership has been published outside of my own direct sales venues as of today,I am planning to return soon with several ebay listings (probably in my own store here on ebay) of limited edition prints of several of my previously unpublished poems (upon completion of copyright procurements), along with a number of other entertaining items such as music cassettes,CDs,and possibly even some of the old 8 tracks, and who knows what else?
Unfortunately, due to recent severe medical issues with myself and relatives, I have had to be absent from ebay selling for most of 2006 as far as listings of items for sale go ... and though my own health is not yet recovered enough to enable me to put in 100%full time effort like in '03&'04, I assure you, my valued ebay shoppers, that I will arrange things so that your emails get answered as promptly as possible, so please feel free to email me those requests for listings at your convenience.
A PayPal mixup delayed our planned return back in September, per several near-catastrophic banking issues I had to work quickly to prevent as a result of them trying to give my money away again where I had not authorized nor requested a payment to be made... so BJWEofOKC is going to be operating a little differently once we return to selling here on ebay. Here are some of the changes which we hope will help us serve you better:
1.- We will accept instant balance transfer payments via PayPal, and we will ship promptly once those payments clear into my designated bank account(s). We will NOT, however, be abled to accept PayPal credit card payments from anyone outside the USA unless you are one of our established,valued clients whom has already previously paid us successfully by credit card via PayPal before this new policy went into effect on October26,2005 at 04:00 CST central U.S. time.Honestly, We strongly prefer payment by money-order in U.S. funds made payable to B.J.Westfall in order to assure the quickest shipping of your order.
Well-wrapped USD cash is also accepted,and does get orders shipped sooner when I receive it, but I cannot be liable for lost,misdelivered, or otherwise unreceived mail ... so I recommend money-order or certified check/bank draft or PayPal instant balance transfer. For the convenience of our valued clients in the UK and Australia, we can also accept GBP and AUD now via PayPal instant payment transfers. We simply do not accept CC payments on overseas orders, and the S&H will usually be notably higher due to the higher postage costs and additional paperwork and processing involved.As may apply, any tariffs,duties,or other customs fees charged by your government are BUYER's responsibility,as we do NOT charge for them in our quoted S&H terms.PLEASE remember this when you are bidding on our listings to help us avoid any misunderstandings.
Proof of delivery: on all orders shipped outside the USA, I will be shipping with receipt signature required, so be prepared for the added cost and requirements when you order. This is due to the problems we have had previously with people filing chargebacks 9 weeks after we shipped items and entered the shipping information into our PayPal account details, which is why we no longer accept credit cards via PayPal on orders outside the USA unless you are on our list of non-US clients whom we have successfully completed transactions with before involving your CC pmt. On all US shipments, I reserve the right to add/include Delivery Confirmation on more expensive items or if I feel it necessary for some reason to do so. In these cases, I will email you the delivery confirmation number ASAP after I ship your order.
2.- To help simplify combining items with the discount we offer for multiple purchases made with a single payment for items to be shipped together, I will now be offering you our items with the shipping as follows:
Music items will be issued points: 8 track tapes or concert tees (if offered) will be counted as 2 points each,CDs and cassettes will be counted as 1 point each, as will our EXCLUSIVE, limited edition poem prints (which we will be producing ourselves-including the hand-signing and numbering by the originating poet just before I ship the item(s) to you.)Other items will be asigned points based on the size dimensions and weight in like manner, and our rates will be as follows:
For Standard (Media Rate or First Class,as applicable)Shipping within the lower 48 states, S&H for up to 3 points will be $5.95 (our new minimum required S&H due to the drastic cost increases resulting from fuel costs and most other processing costs going way up). Priority Mail for these shipments may also be available at $7.50 per order (1 to 3 points). Then, for each point after 3, simply add $2.50 per additional point. In some cases where I may list an item which is ,for example, 4 points for a rate less than $9.95, you would count that item as the first item at the posted S&H rate, then add the other items accordingly as indicated here.
~ AS ALWAYS - I AM HAPPY TO ASSIST YOU by answering any ?'s you email me ASAP if you wish to combine multiple listings but are confused by our new S&H policy.
REFERENCE NOTE: Due to the apparent confusion we experienced previously, we are no longer abled to combine certain items/lots with cassettes,CDs, or 8-track tapes in the same package, so I will have to quote you S&H on a case by case basis if you decide to order one or more of our handy telescoping magnets or other magnetic items with one or more music items in a combined purchase.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: our S&H may include a fraction of the costs I actually incur in processing each order,however we NEVER inflate the S&H to include the item cost, and we do still offer our Buy It Now prices as low as I can reasonably expect to go without taking a loss.After all ... this is a business ... and I do plan to earn, through hard work and dilligence combined with prudent financial management, enough to publish the anthologies of the poets whom have faithfully worked with me the past several years in a manner which will provide them a decent return for their efforts.
3.- As part of our cost-cutting efforts,I have accepted an exclusive contract with C.E.X., which means that I am theirs when they call for the duration of the job(s) they have hired me for. ~~~UPDATE(28Feb2009): They breached their own contract terms multiple times with me...now I'm BACK to business!!!
I will now only be shipping once per week (when weather conditions and post office hours permit),and I ask that you please allow me up to 4 days to respond to your emails if I get very busy,as there are certain dates when I will be unabled to check my emails, so I may be a few days getting to it.rest assured, however, I will still answer all emails ASAP once I get them from you, and this means usually within a few hours of when I get it in my inbox, or a few minutes of my returning from outside work.
4.- Our expected return date ,pending my receipt of a certain response I am awaiting from a certain agency, is July05,2009. Maybe a couple of days either way from there. Then, whether or not we stay long is entirely up to YOU, my valued ebay clients. According to my most recent calculations, we will need to move no less than 450 listings per month to be abled to consider staying (as this would barely cover the store subscription cost, listing fees, supplies, and postage based on our previous ratio of combined ship orders)... and since I would really like to earn at least a little each day to put toward our "Starving Poets Fund" which is used to provide some support assistance for our poets,as necessary, and which we hope will eventually grow into enough to publish one of our anthologies for you ... I'm setting our sales expectation fairly high ( to match our low prices reasonably). The goal is to pass 100 positive feedbacks before the end of 2006, then sell over 100 listings per week, if I get our store open as planned. If I get the store open ... look for the number of listings to be well over 300 and possibly over 500 different items before I'm finished adding listings into the inventory , which would be done before Valentine's Day of 2010.

OR the lowest price goes on, no one responds, and the item relists a limited number of times via fixed price,before going into the "targets" pile , which I have created as a means of hopeful therapy for myself to use as needed. Items which do not sell do not get replaced in my inventories by other purchased items anymore ... they simply get liquidated and the inventory availability shrinks that much (see inverted reverse economic principles). Then ... if available inventory goes below a workable level ... the doors shut, the lights go out, and history files away another chapter.After all, we must pay our bills just like you, so if we cannot earn a tiny "profit"on each sale,we may as well resort to much easier, better paying, more enjoyable tasks such as sleeping all day and playing finder's keepers all night ... or something like that.However, as long as sales permit, we plan to continue writing and helping good people like you, our valued customers. Optimally, I would be abled to upload specific content to each area, control accessibility, and update each part as needed with extremely limited script-writing experience...and I would also be abled to link in other sites I may purchase or create.
The challenge on the project above is this: Since we operate primarily as an interlinked network of self-funding promotions, and since we do not make very much per transaction ... we will need this intricate web domain/site to be set up with a very tiny initial capital investment, and be abled to make small monthly results-based payments for the remainder of the costs (primarily out of the revenues earned by the sites once I have begun adding the content). We cannot pay up front,the kind of monies we were quoted by a few of those giant companies, but I believe this kind of project,done as a joint venture/limited partnership could provide a growing residual income for both parties if done correctly, using your website and domain setup skills and my content. If you enjoy site and domain design and setup (submitting and optimizing for top search engine placement might be needed on an ongoing basis to help create consistency and growth in revenues for us both). I am currently exploring and considering offers for this type of joint venture.
