The 1992 season took him to the No.77 Pontiac where Donnie stayed consistently in the top 10 in the point's chase for the Championship. In 1995, after a 9th place finish at Daytona, Donnie went to work for Hill Motorsports, Inc. preparing racecars for Jerry Hill in the ARCA Series. In 1996, he teamed up with Ellis Ragan, owner of the No. 00 & No. 96 Talton's Metal Products Ford Probe's. After a strong run at Daytona, Donnie went on to score two top 10 finishes early in the season, only to see his car owner pass away. He suffered with cancer. The tragedy opened the door for Donnie to run a limited schedule in 1997 with DTA Motor Sports. After leading the Daytona USA 200 Race where Donnie finished 7th another strong run came at Charlotte Motor Speedway where he finished 12th. Donnie finished out the 1996 and 1997 season running his own car in the Hooters Procup Series.
In 1998 and 1999 Donnie drove for GEM Motorsports out of Hendersonville, NC running in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series. While continually trying to establish a full budget Donnie proved he has what it takes by consistently finishing in the top 10 at places like Hickory & Caraway Speedway, some of the toughest short tracks in the country. Proving his ability to quality in the top 10 at places like Bristol and Louisville Speedways, two famous race tracks, puts Donnie on the list of future bright stars of NASCAR racing.
Donnie has a natural talent for racing. He has been praised for his talents by such notables as Barry Owens - once owner of the NASCAR Busch Series Team Duron Paints Ford of Mike Wallace, Dennis Setzer - driver of the #1 Mopar Dodge in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and Cal Lawson - Team Manager for the #86 Royal Crown Cola Super Truck driven by Stacy Compton.
Donnie graduated with honors from school, has completed two years of college majoring in Business Management, holds a certificate in Welding from ABC Institute, and three years of T & I in Automotive.
The "Chiefs Award for Exceptional and Heroic Actions" was awarded to Donnie for stopping and holding a robbery suspect. The community also awarded Donnie with an "Outstanding Citizenship Award" for his bravery and community service. Donnie played on State High School Champion Basketball teams. Donnie has given many speeches on safety and racing at various schools the most notably, The Maryland State Police.
Neuenberger has a calm, cool demeanor, an excellent speaking voice, and is a handsome, young, single man. Donnie makes regular Monday morning show appearances on one of the leading radio stations in Baltimore, Maryland, FM 98 ROCK.
Donnie has owned and operated several service stations and tow trucks but sold all of it to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time race driver.
