Since joining eBay in 1999 I have made many hundreds of sales using non-Paypal payment methods and as such I have a substantial record of happy buyers. Now eBay is suggesting that my extensive record of positive feedback on sales doesn't guarantee your safety when dealing with me, what does that say about their system?
Of course their blathering is only garbage to promote Paypal. Bottom line is; if you don't trust my feedback please don't bid on my items, thanks. And do us both a favour and don't line Paypal's (eBay's second dip) coffers (they also make money on shipping and insurance!)
My name is Rob Studdert, I'm a dedicated photographer, a certified electronics and broadcast engineer. I enjoy travel, bush hiking, good food, photography, varied genres of music, spirited conversation and good company. Just to clarify I'm not a dealer, most items found in my auctions are my personal goods or those that I'm selling for others gratis.

| What are my auction terms and policies ? |
I base my activity as trader on absolute honesty in all my auction descriptions and actions. Please check my extensive eBay feedback for confirmation of my thorough management of local and International eBay transactions.
All product images in my auctions are of the actual auction item/s unless otherwise indicated, more detailed images are generally available if required.
Please ensure that you have read and understand the "Terms and Conditions" within the auction listing before bidding.
If you have made a bid that you wish to remove from one of my auctions please do not ask me to remove it, you will need to do this yourself and well before the end of the auction. Please see eBay Bid Retractions for details.
I reserve the right to block or deny sale to any bidder but most particularly those with negative, hidden or zero feedback, any bidder who retracts bids, any bidder with a newly established account or any bidder who refuses to reply to emails or who has an invalid email account registered with eBay.
If you don't receive an email from me within 48 hours after the close of auction then please assume that you have an email problem. If in doubt contact me to let me know that you haven't yet received an email and please provide an alternate working email address.
If you have even the smallest question regarding auction items, auction terms or procedures then please email me at distudio_ebay_1105@people.net.au and I will respond ASAP, please also always include the relevant eBay auction number in any email.
I ship goods world wide (where applicable) via Australia Post, their services have consistently proven to be reliable and cost effective.
Packaging is mostly recycled and therefore is provided free where applicable however if special packaging is required the Winner may be bound to bear the extra material costs.
The post applied shipping label may differ from the amount that was initially calculated due to factors such as variations in exchange rates or in actual packed weight or box dimensions.
International shipping with tracking is only available via the Australia Post EMS Courier service at additional cost.
I will only ship goods after receipt of payment and I reserve the right to determine when it is most appropriate to ship goods after receipt of full or part payments which are subject to bank clearance periods.
Refunds for unwanted items will be paid less shipping and auction fees and the Winner will be required to pay return freight.
I will not be persuaded to misrepresent International shipments as "gifts" and I do not include invoices with shipments unless specifically instructed to do so.
If you become a Winner of one or more of my auctions you will receive a personal e-mail confirming your winning bid/s. It will outline payment options and instructions based upon your locality and the final auction value/s. If you do not receive such an e-mail within 48 hours please email me at distudio_ebay_1105@people.net.au.
I do not use the eBay Checkout system to prepare or deliver invoices.
My payment preferences are generally direct deposit/telegraphic transfer or cash.
I do not generally accept payments made via private unsecured electronic payment services such as PayPal.
Please consider the payment options suggested in my auction/s and if you remain unsure of any details then please question me before placing your bid/s.
In the event that a Winner of my US$ currency auctions is located in Australia my initial contact email will provide equivalent AU$ auction value (as published via eBay.com.au at the conclusion of the auction) and I strongly encourage payment in AU$.
When paying for auctions using a currency other than US$ that are listed in US$ currency the payment value in the new currency will be determined using the international exchange rate for that new currency vs US$ as at the day of the auction close.
Please ensure that your eBay ID and the the eBay Item number are included with all correspondence and importantly with deposits or other payments.
I will not agree to engage in "escrow" transactions as I have found these services to be slow, inflexible and costly. If you have any doubts regarding my integrity then please don't bid on my auction items.
| Payment - International (Important) |
In the case of payments of up to the value of ~US$50 I generally suggest that it is most economical to pay using cash via mail, of course you must accept all risks associated with any method of payment.
Payment via telegraphic transfer (or bank transfer) should be in the currency specified by the auction or in a previously agreed currency; shipment will be initiated immediately after confirmation of receipt of the total amount as agreed.
Even though I'm not allowed to mention it in my eBay listings (due to eBay trying to blatantly force buyers to utilise its Paypal service) if you are considering executing a payment via the Western Union Money Transfer (WUMT) service please ensure that you email me beforehand as I will not ship goods if payments are short.
An additional bank fee may be required for cash payments in currencies other than US$, Euro or AU$ please contact me for details.
Please do not consider making a payment via US or Canadian Postal Service Postal Money Orders as they are NOT redeemable in my locality and will be returned.
"cash" payment specifically refers to payment via government issued bank notes or AU$ cash/deposit. Payments that are negotiated via (IMO) International Money Order, Western Union Money Order (WUMO), Western Union Money Transfer (WUMT), cashiers check or personal check are not considered "cash".
Please email me if you wish to use any of my images or text as I will vigorously pursue copyright violators. And at the very least eBay will remove offending listings or terminate associated eBay user accounts.
Cheers and prosperous trading,
Rob Studdert
