From time to time I may have items that I no longer need and eBay is an excellent avenue to sell my unneeded items. Information you need to know of before placing a bid on an item I am selling on eBay

If in the event you are the successful winning bidder on any item I sell on eBay here are some items you need to be aware of (these items will be specifically mentioned in the individual listing):

Payment: Payment for any item I sell on eBay must be made through PayPal only. Any other method of payment will not be accepted and the possibility of negative feedback may be left! Please be aware of this before placing a bid!! There will be no exceptions to this term!! If you need to set up a PayPal account please click on this link to go to the PayPal website to set an account up. I apologize for having a PayPal account required policy; having a PayPal account and paying for your items you buy on eBay whether it may be from me or from another eBay member who accepts and/or requires PayPal as a form of payment helps make a win-win situation all around for you and me as well as most of the eBay community.

Shipping and Handling: The method of shipping will be listed in the individual item listing. Items are shipped either via FedEx or the United States Postal Service's Priority Mail Service via traceable methods. The price for shipping and handling will be stated in the item description and must be added to the final bid total at the end of the auction. If in the event I have multiple items listed on eBay and you are the winning bidder on two or more items you will pay only one shipping and handling charge..

NEW SHIPPING POLICY CHANGE: As of 1 October 2008, eBay will be changing its policies as to maximum shipping charges for DVDs, CDs and books. Consequently, there will be no shipping charges for DVDs, CDs and books sold here at the Edward Ringwald Surplus Corner on eBay. That's right, no shipping charges for DVDs, CDs and books. That's a great deal!

If the method for shipping on an item I have on eBay requires shipment via FedEx and if your address of record on eBay is that of a post office box, you can still place a bid. If in the event you are the winning bidder on this item and your address of record is a post office box, I will ask for a street address for FedEx purposes so that your item can be shipped. I will respect your privacy in this regard.

Because of the complexities of shipping outside the United States (export regulations, customs, etc.), items will be shipped to USA addresses only; no international shipments please!

I will expect payment for the item you win from me on eBay within seven (7) days of the close of the auction. Once I receive payment your item will be on its way. Positive eBay feedback given for complete transaction follow-through including on time payment! On the other hand, failure to follow through on a transaction involving an item I have for sale on eBay may result in negative consequences such as (1) negative feedback being given and (2) notification to eBay of a non-paying bidder alert which may result in an unpaid item strike being given at the discretion of eBay. According to eBay rules and regulations the accumulation of three unpaid item strikes may result in account suspension at eBay discretion. Just to let you know!
