My first encounter with comic book characters was in 1990 when I was in 6th grade. Friends of mine who sat with me at lunch were collecting something known as "Marvel Cards". I started collecting those same marvel cards, and since then I was hooked. My first comic book was an Uncanny X-Men #252, and I still own it to this day!
Golden Age Comics
Since around 1998 I started collecting Golden age comics. My first golden age book was a coverless detective 38. It was great to have a piece of history, and my golden age collection has grown since then. Below are a list of books I am still looking for...
Action Comics #2,3,7 (can be incomplete),14,16 coverless;
Detective Comics #29 in any grade including coverless;
More Fun: all and any! :-);
Adventure Comics 40-61;
New Fun Comics 2-5 in any grade;
Batman #8 coverless complete;
Phantom Lady 16,17,18,23 in lower grade
All Top 8
Thats just a short list, but I am always looking for books that are gerber 8,9 or 10.

:-) In case Mr. Clause is looking here, I love original art of all types, esp. batgirl, batman, spiderman and cool looking females ;-). I have been on the hunt for convention sketches and have gotten some really cool ones!
