The Autumn Angels, a group of three teenaged girls from New Jersey, have worked together for the last six years to help others. They began by collecting coats and food for women in shelters and each year, as their desire to help others became more meaningful, their projects have grown bigger. The Angels have always culminated their service projects on USA WEEKEND's Make a Difference Day and are honored winners of a National Make a Difference Day Award.
This year the Angels wanted to do something to encourage other youth and teens to volunteer. In that spirit, they organized this awesome online auction and chose to donate the proceeds to Kids Care Clubs, a program of the Points of Light Foundation.
Kids Care Clubs will use the proceeds to award community action grants to Kids Care Clubs across the country and around the world. These grants will enable young volunteers to pursue their creativity and passions in their own communities.
