Who We Are
CSN (www.childsafetynetwork.com)
is a charitable trust founded in 1989. It is dedicated to promoting
safety and protection of children throughout the United States. Its main
focus is to reduce the likelihood of children becoming abused, abducted
or injured. More than 170 U.S. representatives including the office of
the President have written letters of endorsement for CSN's decade of

The real Mach 5was built for the Child
Safety Network at a "project" cost of over $650,000 to be used
in a national automotive safety tour. The highest
bidder will agree to loan the Mach 5to CSN for eight months while it
continues its national child safety tour.

The eight-month wait for delivery will be worth
every minute. That's because the vehicle
will be delivered to its new owner by the leading cast members of Speed
Racerduring a circa 1960 (fully catered) "Speed Racer
Party". That's right; Trixie and Speed Racer will be there.
Peter Fernandez, the original voice of Speed Racer and Racer X can't
wait to turn over the keys to help support his favorite charity, Child
Safety Network. Corinne Orr who will also be on hand at the delivery
party is the voice of Trixie, Mom Racer, Chim Chim and all the female
voices used on the show.
Peter Fernandez is interviewed by ABC news in Chicago. The Mach
5will be delivered by Peter (the voice of Speed Racer) during a
fully catered 1960's Speed Racer Party.
