I was born in The Bronx, NY. After being graduated from college in Brooklyn, I was a Peace Corps math teacher in Western Samoa from January 1970 until June 1972, when my term of service ended. I was then employed by the Education Department of Western Samoa as a math teacher until February 1977, teaching at Palauli Jr High School on the big island of Savai'i, then at A'ana Jr High School at Fasito'otai on the main island of Upolu. Currently, I live on Long Island with my wife and twin children (a boy and girl born November 2001); working in the IT field for the City of New York as a project manager.
