Hi ! I'm Burton Smith.  I've been an ebayer since the early days.  I'm a U.S. Federal employee of 30 years (National Geodetic Survey, NOAA).  I'm a proud member of the Ebay Users Stamp Club.

My interests are:

• stamp collecting (worldwide to 1960)
• duckpin bowling
• geology (not to be confused with geodesy)
• comics (100 Bullets, Legion of Superheroes, SImpsons and JLA/JSA are my current faves)
• raising a female teenager
• astronomy

I spent my "hippie" days attending Frostburg State University (then College)(Go Bobcats!) in the early 1970's.  I blame my geography professors for my interest in geology.  I blame my dad for my interest in duckpin bowling.  I blame the U.S. government for my interest in geodesy. (geesh, you gotta blame somebody, right?)
