Welcome to the "About Me" page for the State of Oregon's Surplus
Property Program. Oregon Surplus Property is currently responsible for
the public disposal of much of the surplus, seized and\or recovered vehicles
& property from Oregon State and Local Government Agencies, the U.S.
Bureau of Land Management and various municipalities throughout the Nation.
Due to the nature of the property we offer, and the volume we process,
property-specific information is limited to disclosure from the "Property
Generating Agencies", general observations and digital images. Since Oregon Surplus Property does not have the
resources to tear down, identify and report the characteristics of each lot,
we offer the prospective bidder (s) the opportunity to personally inspect the
item (s) offered for public sale.
The
overwhelming majority of
State and Federal Government Surplus Property Programs do not advertise their
property online, choosing instead to advertise their property & sales
through more traditional local venues. Oregon differs from these
agencies, where the prospective bidder is required to personally attend sales
to just to see what is available. We are alike, however, in that all
property offered is "AS-IS" with no warranty, expressed or implied,
as to kind, character or quality of any of the property, or its fitness for
any use or purpose.
While
Oregon Surplus Property cannot, by contract, accept credit card payments from
third party providers (i.e. Paypal, Billpoint, Bidpay, etc.) we can accept
credit card payments internally through our own merchant account. Unless
otherwise specified in the item listing, we can assist our U.S. buyers in
making shipping arrangements.

I often wonder if this is all really
