Welcome to R.K. Bentley's Ebay Auction Site
Bentley's FAQ about Auctions:
The backbone of my auctions has been the back issues
from my comic book collection, all fifteen long boxes of them. All of
those issues
have been read at least once or twice and are all now bagged, boarded
and taped.
Along with those long boxes I've been selling newer
issues; which are bagged, boarded and taped immediately after I get
them.
I also sell Region 1 DVDs and Apple Merchandise like
iPods
and such.
Reasons behind selling:
1. I don't read the comics that much anymore.
Comic Book Condition:
If an item description says it has never been
read than I bought it, bagged, boarded and taped it in the same day.
If an item description says it was rescued from
(insert comic book store name here) than it’s probably been read, a few
wrinkles here and there.
If an items description says it has been read once
or twice and no other description is given than it means it’s pretty
good shape. Many of my back issues were bagged, boarded and taped
already.
All comics are bagged, boarded and taped once I get
home from the store. The comic's condition is described to the best of
my ability. I am a reader not a collector.
DVD Conditions:
1. All DVDs are Region 1.
2. All DVDs descriptions will state whether they are
new or used.
My Shipping Policy:
All USA Auctions will go out by
USPS
only. If the auction item is big enough the Post Office will list it
Priority Mail.
Any International Auctions are sent
Air Mail.
Any sort of Insurance and or Cardboard Back Boarding
for said
First Class Envelope is optional and at buyers expense.
Insurance is not avail outside the USA.
I write: DO NOT BEND on both the front and back of
envelope. I do make sure the color is correct since some Post Offices
in Countries do not like certain colors.
Any requested for a comic to be shipped via a box
will be denied. If your mail has been mangled by the Post Office or
Post Person: It's time to move or get a PO Box.
Payment Options:
- Money (I take no responsibility
if it doesn't reach me.)
- Credit Card via Paypal.
- Check and Money Orders are also accepted.
Optional Mailing Options:
Insurance, cardboard backing for the envelope and or
delivery tracking are optional and at the customer request. Each would
be additional $1.50.
Insurance is not available outside the USA.
I am not responsible for any uninsured or
non-cardboard backed packages damaged by the Post Office.
If packages have been damaged in transist to your
address I strongly suggest cardboard backing. See Feedback Options if
you plan on leaving negative feedback due to damaged items enroute.
Shipping and Handling:
In 2007, I began offering the S+H to be included in single
auctions.
Any Shipping for single items within the USA is:
Free.
Any Shipping of multiple items within the USA will
vary on the items.
Any Shipping for single items outside the USA will
vary depending on the auction item.
Any Shipping for multiple items outside the USA will
vary depending on the number of items.
These broad terms for S+H for multiple items may
seem too broad but after looking over my previous terms for S+H I've
decided that an auction per auction basis is better in the end for
buyer and seller.
When in doubt, drop me an email regarding shipping
if you plan on buying multiple items.
Feedback:
I will leave positive feedback once the buyer
receives his item and leaves feedback. Positive feedback only will be
left as long as the transaction went well.
If package was damaged in transit no refund will be
offered, buyer has the option to keep the damaged items if he/she
wishes. If buyer did not get cardboard backing or insurance for the
package then leaves positive feedback so will I.
If package was damaged in transit and buyer leaves
negative feedback, expect seller to post negative feedback due to no
insurance or cardboad backing was not added by the buyer.
If the transaction is not completed within 30 Days
and after numerous attempts via email, telepathy, carrier pigeon and
smoke signals at getting in touch with buyer then negative feedback
will be given. If buyer suddenly after 30 Days of non-communication
whines about this then obviously buyer needs to pull said hunk of coal
out of his @$$ and reply to his e-mail, this is not a hard concept.
