SUMMERMAGICMAN'S ABOUT ME PAGE

How I was introduced to Magic The Gathering.
I have been an avid player/collector of Magic The Gathering since 1993. A long-time friend of mine introduced me to the game eons ago and I started playing/collecting soon after. I immediately fell in love with the game, and now years later, I'm still playing strong. From 1998-2001, I was a magic card dealer. During that time I was lucky enough to obtain many of the quality magic cards I own today. I prefer playing with older magic cards and primarily construct type I decks.

Magic cards I'm always looking for.
There are quite a few magic cards I'm looking to pick up. Some of these are for my decks, but most are cards I collect because they are my favorites. I'm not too picky on card condition since I like to have some worn cards for decks I play a lot. Hope to hear from you!

    Condition Scale
  • MT:Mint; Card is un-played. Sharp corners, shiny surface and no play wear or blemishes. I don't believe in true "mint" cards, but if I grade a card MT, I personally pulled it from a pack myself.
  • NM:Near Mint: Card is most likely unplayed. Shows almost no play wear and may have a few very minor nicks or scrathes on the surfaces and edges. This is usually the highest grading I give a card.
  • F:Fine: Card shows signs of playwear, but not heavily. It has some minor scratches and/or imperfect edges and there is moderate whitening on multiple edges/corners..
  • G:Good: Card shows signs of heavy play and there is heavy whitening on all edges/corners.
  • P:Poor: Card is about as bad as it gets. Cards in this condition have been loved a whole lot by their owners.
