I am retired and now working with my wife, Linda, on restoring and managing Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. Linda and I have four children and are proud grandparents of four beautiful grandchildren. I became interested in pull toys about the time Marc, my oldest grandchild, was born. With my interest growing, my present collection has roughly 2000 pull toys. I have some pictures below that is a small example of my collection. Most of the toys in my collection were made between 1920 - 1960. Within my collection are large groups of Disney and Warner Brother's character pull toys. Searching for Information
I have been working over the years on a way to share information on the toys I collect and toys that others collect. I decided a website was the best avenue to go, so created www.AntiqueToyCollections.info. It shares information on over 150 toy companies, over 2500 toys, and about 1500 pages of catalogs and toy ads. There are plastic, iron, tin, metal and wood pull toys made between 1865 - 1965. The website is open for anyone who will like to share information on the toys they own and information on the companies they came from. If you need help identifying a toy or any other information, let me know. Any constructive feedback, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
