Shipping can be combined if multiple auctions are won. I don't have a postal scale, but I do weigh things on my baby scale and my shipping quotes are pretty close. On to the fun stuff. I like to call these *XXXXXX's Rules of Propriety*, but others may know them as *Auction Terms*. I ask that you PLEASE read through them & take them to heart BEFORE you bid thereby avoiding annoyance, irritation & heartache on all sides! I don't have time to weed through emails to see who bought what and how many auctions and do a bunch of math to see how you intend for me to ship. If you are still bidding on items, just let me know. I'm more than happy to combine auctions to save on shipping, but I need to know BEFORE you pay me for the 1st auction. On my end, I ship on Mondays & Fridays. However, I am pretty accommodating, so if you need it right away, just let me know & I can ship next day. All my items come from a smoke-free home. No stinky items here! I can assure you that all NWT items are exactly that. Bought NWT and never worn, washed, stepped on or driven over. Gently used items have been treated with the utmost care & are described as accurately as I can. If, however, after receiving your item you find that the description was inaccurate, PLEASE let me know. If you return the item that was misrepresented, I will be happy to refund your money, including shipping both ways. I will not, however, issue refunds simply because you changed your mind or decide you do not like the item. That is what pictures & descriptions are for. Again, if you have ANY questions, just ask. I want us both to have a great transaction!
Things to know before we deal..
For Sellers, in brief:
I always pay with either Paypal, Billpoint or money order. [These are POSITIVE funds--funds have to be in the account for the electronic transaction to take place, unlike checks.] NEVER by check. Telling me that you don't take checks makes me think you don't bother reading the emails. If you don't like getting a lot of emails, answer all questions and answer them completely the first time. Short, incomplete or missing answers will almost guarantee a follow-up email. I don't ask questions because I need finger exercise! I ask questions so I can make an informed decision before I make a purchase commitment. I DO question what I consider to be high shipping/handling charges. See homepage link below. Oh, yes, final note on purchasing: When I send you positive funds, and you accept them I expect positive feedback: I've completed my part of our contract. I don't "buy" any excuse about waiting until I'm satisfied with my purchase. Sellers who want BOTH the money first AND feedback first--piss me off no end. If you are one: either neither of us will get feedback (that's happened with me a few HUNDRED times) or you will get neutral or negative feedback!

Okay, I have discovered that some Buyers don't get the drift on going to the homepage for the rest of the information. So, I'll try to spell everything out here:
I try to describe what I am selling in a reasonable and straightforward fashion. If I don't mention something, don't assume it.
I do NOT guarantee electronics. You buy, it's yours! No refund. However, you may return the item at your expense. It will then be donated to a local charity! I try to NOT overcharge on shipping or packing. If I can package something myself, I will--no charge. If it has to go through someone else, you pay what I pay--no more. I almost always pick up the tab for delivery confirmation (well, it's included with UPS). If you have questions, ask first.
Once you win an auction, you are committed to follow through!
Speaking of following through: I don't generally have the patience that eBay does. If you are bidding on a Dutch auction--pay as soon as you bid. Don't wait until the auction is over! I WILL end the auction early if everything is sold early! There is also LESS of a chance that I will screw up sending stuff out if I do it one-at-a-time. If you're bidding on a regular auction and you made the bid with under an hour to go--go back and follow-up when it's over. Waiting for me to contact you is pointless, generally. I usually have the shipping amount listed and you have the email address for Paypal payments and the link for Billpoint. If you have a post "win" question--send it immediately. I get a bit cranky if I have a last minute Bidder--who then waits for a day, or two or three before getting back to me. I have actually cancelled 4 sales in the last few months because a Bidder put in their bid Friday afternoon from work, the auction ended within a few hours--and I didn't hear anything until Monday. I simply don't tolerate that behaviour. If you bid in the last few hours--you are expected to follow through in a few hours. It is NOT my problem if you go in the hospital, your family went on vacation, the cat, dog and bird went on David Letterman and a meteor hit your house. LET ME KNOW, I'll work with ya!
Buyer's Remorse Chargebacks: I have no tolerance for "gee, I don't like it...whatever...I want a refund..." I have had one Buyer do a chargeback on me through Paypal--he turned around and repaid 48-hours later--and one more who threatened a chargeback. If you do a chargeback against me, I will make a point of making your life as miserable as I can for the next 30 days--longer if you don't reverse the chargeback and I take you to small claims court.
You could end up with frozen bank cards and bank accounts for months.
Since Paypal went from being a nice, friendly financial clearing house to being like most other banks, I don't trust them. They don't mind taking money back away from Sellers--but they don't give it back to the Buyer's right away--they sit there and use the money as long as they can get away with it. That's "business" of course, but it leaves both of us out in the cold. If I've screwed up, I have no problem doing a refund of the payment (less fees and shipping, of course). HOWEVER: If I've sold you something that said "no refund" in the auction--you agreed that you wouldn't get a refund when you bid.
BOOKS SECTION
With 90% of the books I sell, I don't make anything. You've ended up with a book at a reasonable price, our library has received a donation and the postal service has made money. I just want some positive feedback within a day or so of your receiving the book. If I don't get it, I will remind you. Even if the book isn't what you were expecting (I've ended up with a BUNCH of those!) at least you received what you paid for:)

Hi . . . . Good chance that if you are reading this page, I have suggested that you check this page out--we are either in process of doing a deal or may be about to . . . in either event, read on... Despite the rather low feedback number, I have participated in nearly 1,100 auctions either by myself or with my wife. If you are giving me advice: most likely I've already tried whatever you are suggesting....except for the ones that sound particularly painful or difficult:>) Payment: I NEVER use personal checks. We use: Paypal Billpointor money orders. If you go on about your check policy: all you do is reduce my opinion of your reading ability! Generally, I pay within hours of the end of an auction. If there are questions, it could take weeks if I don't hear back from you. PAYPALPAYMENTS: I much prefer to make Paypal payments to those who have a Premier or Business account. The Reason I prefer to pay those accounts: it doesn't reduce my pay limit! That IS important to me. As of Mid-June 2001, I am making a change of Policy: I would prefer it if you would pay with Billpoint. I had one Buyer, Chuck, who got a little impatient for his item and had Paypal pull $185 out of my account. They were more than happy to take money out. He had received his item 36 hours BEFORE they took my payment away. It took a 45-minute phone call to them and a confirmation call to Chuck before they reluctantly returned my money. The CSRs lie, they don't do follow-up and they don't return calls. Yes, I have all of the allegations documented--which is more than I can say for them. IF you pay using Paypal and for ANY REASON you decide you want to stop the payment, expect that I will take you to local (WA or OR) small claims court for a minimum of $500+court costs+ whatever the original total was. If I get hit with any fees by Paypal as a result of a transaction with you--I will come after you for those fees plus $50 for my time and expenses. Confirmation/Tracking: When I pay for it...I expect to get the information...before the package arrives! If you don't send it, as of 1 July 2000 I will no longer leave positive feedback. You will get a choice of none or Neutral. Feedback: If you get prompt (within 48 hours), positive (no check) funds and you keep it--I've earned my positive feedback. I''ve upheld my part of the contract. If you don't like the money (so far, I have only run into that twice) send it back and we'll call it "good." I will provide you feedback based on : (1) did you answer any questions in a reasonable manner (that means before the auction is over, without being rude and in coherent English). (2) did you charge just the shipping or did you add in your own padding. (3) Did you email a confirmation/tracking number the day you shipped? (4) was what I got what was represented in the auction? (5) did I receive it in a reasonable amount of time? (A day or two if you're in the Northwest, 7-10 days if you're in Florida. A month is generally NOT reasonable.) IF you pull something stupid like "I want feedback for my item, then I'll give you feedback," neither one of us will get feedback and you WILL go on my Nasty Seller's List. I will also, on my site, let others know that you are a selfish so-and-so. IF all went well on 1-5 above, good chance you will end up on my Wonderful Seller's List. Once a year, I will be choosing someone on the WSL and sending them a Bonus Payment or Gift Certificate. In 2000, I did send two "Wonderful Sellers" Gift Cerfificate Books from Starbucks. IF you are buying something from me: First, let me clue ya: This is a hobby and not my career. I am not real fast to the Post office or MBE (MailBoxes, Etc.). I try to be as fast and honest as possible. UPDATE: I have discovered that it takes me DAYS longer to mail anything if I have to ship it insured. I've had a couple of Buyers get a bit testy because of the extra time it took. I don't blame them, but that's the way it seems to be working out. This is NOT true if I use UPS or USPS. I now have (June 2001) FedEx Ground available. Competitive with UPS for ground service. I sell off stuff that I'm not using any more or that I inherited or that I picked up at a garage sale or from someone. I don't guarantee anything unless I EXPLICITLY say so. Nor do I take anything back, well, let me rephrase that: If you don't like something and you choose to return it, you may do so at your own expense--but I won't refund your money. I had one Buyer who returned a printer. I let it sit for a month then donated it to a local charity. Wife would do bad things to me for refunding after this warning! You buy it, it's YOURS! I will give you positive feedback for prompt, positive funds:) If you send a check, expect it to come back--you can now make "check" payments electronically via Billpoint. (sigh, or Paypal) My bank doesn't like me--so they take as long as they can to give me clear funds. That means up to 21 business days from the time they get it. To give you an idea: You send payment to me: 5 days +/-. I send it to our bank: 3 days+/-. They screw around with it for 21 days. There went a month!

Returns. We hate 'em, and we know you do too... so we pack all items to survive the Postal Journey. In another life i was a Ship &
Receive Clerk. In the unlikely event your item is damaged in shipping, your refund will be handled through insurance if your chose

My take on leaving feedback: Sellers should leave feedback AS SOON AS THEY RECEIVE PAYMENT!!! If I purchase something from you and you don't leave me feedback FIRST, there's a good chance I won't leave you any either just out of plain old spite. I can't stand these people who wait for the BUYER to leave feedback first. It's not right and I don't like it. If you purchase something from me and pay promptly, you will receive positive feedback from me IMMEDIATELY, as you should. I hope you'll do the same when your item is received.

PLEASE do not bid if you do not intend to, or cannot, pay should you win the auction. I don't like it one little bit and you will be automatically reported for non-payment after 7 days.
PLEASE, for the love of all that is good and holy, if you are uncertain about the description or condition of one of my items, email me before you place a bid. Ask me anything you like. Whatever pops into your head. I love getting emails. It gives me a big thrill and makes me feel all big and important, so email away. I would not want you disappointed with your item but, if you are it will most likely be your own fault for not speaking up and obtaining any important information when you had a chance. Remember, your bid is a legally binding contract, like it or not.
I reserve the right to refuse to sell to you, cancel your bid, and/or block you from bidding on my auctions if I feel you are naughty and will be a non-paying pain in the butt. By this, I mean:
Having any negative feedback that worries me.
Giving me a run-around or ignoring my emails after the auction has ended.
Not sending me an email with your payment intentions within three days of end of auction.
Telling idiotic stories about how you had the money order all ready to go and the dog ate it then
someone stole your dog then the place where you get your money orders was stolen by aliens, etc.
Shipping:
I ship within the U.S. only!!!
I send most of my items via Priority Mail since, through hard experience, I have found that Priority shipping seems to arrive in one piece nearly every time, as opposed to cheaper methods.
I will ship within the United States only. Please do not bid if you live outside of the US, if you do I will not honor the sale should you win and I will submit a report with Ebay in order to have my final value fee refunded.
All of my items are packaged securely and properly. Once an item leaves my posession I am no longer responsable in any way for its welfare. If you don't trust your item to the tender mercies of the US Postal Service (and who does?) then please request insurance. I have found that damage is very rare but it DOES HAPPEN occasionally, so be warned. I will ship insured items on Saturdays only. Sorry but, this is the only day that I am free to travel to the post office to acquire it.
If your item arrives damaged you will use your postal insurance to request a refund from the POST OFFICE, not me. If you do not request insurance and your package arrives damaged sorry, you're out of luck. I can't control the actions of the apes that pass for postal carriers.
If an item sells for a high price, I reserve the right to require you pay the insurance charge. Postal insurance is very cheap and worth every penny in some cases.
Returns:
I don't accept 'em. All sales are final.
Overzealous bidding and buyer's remorse are really really frustrating but, they are definitely not valid reasons for refusing to pay or demanding a refund.
If you feel that an item you purchased from me was not as described, let me know and there's a microscopically small chance that I may agree to a refund. As I stated before, questions should be asked before bidding and I describe everything as fully and as accurately as possible, so good luck.
In the very unlikely event that I do agree to a return/refund, I will refund the cost of the item only. All shipping charges, including the cost of returning shipping of the item, are the responsibility of the buyer. I will not, under any circumstances whatsoever, offer a refund unless the item is returned to me first, and in the same condition that it was shipped.

These statements are made as personal impressions and an honest attempt to describe this item from a layperson's point of view. Again, due to the variety of items we sell I may not be aware of the standards within that collecting field. We welcome all emails and post whatever fresh information we feel is important. What I think is fairly clean may not be what you thing is fairly clean. What I think is bright colors may not be what you feel are bright colors. Look at the pictures!
