GREETINGS! Hello! My name is John Leckrone and I would like to thank you for your interest in doing business with me. I specialize in sterling silver and silverplate flatware and holloware. I am primarily a silver matching service but I also carry a large selection of quality glass, porcelain and jewelry. Antiques and collectibles are my business and I love to deal in them. I also carry a wonderful selection of tarnish resistant tableware flatware storage chests to help protect your silverware. I appreciate all of you, my customers. Without you I could not take care of my wife Michelle and our five loving children, Sarah, Johnny, Dirk, Gabrielle and Elizabeth. I spend 12 to 14 hours a day doing things related to this business Monday through Saturday and a couple of hours on Sunday. CLEANING SILVER I believe it is the sellers responsibility to clean silver, not the buyers. All of my silver is highly shined before I send it to you. I use Wright's silver cream and old fashioned "elbow grease" to clean silver. Once shined your newly purchased silver is then washed in warm soapy water and dried with a soft towel to bring out it's beautiful shine. I do not use instant dips or soda and water with metal plates. These last two methods destroy the beauty of silver and in no way clean it or help silver look it's very best. Only silver polish and a little effort and constant use will keep your silver looking it's brightest! I take this business very seriously and do my best to maintain high standards. My customers satisfaction is extremely important to me. I know how difficult it is to judge an item that you are not holding in your hand. Just like you I buy online as well. I will gladly respond to your inquiry's to the best of my ability. Should an item not meet your expectations for some reason simply let me know and we will discuss different options. Buyers remorse will cost the buyer shipping both ways and a small restocking fee to cover my time and ebay fees (the restocking fee will never exceed 15%). If the error is on my behalf and I failed to mention it in my description please contact me and let me know. Different options to resolve problems include 1. A complete refund to you the buyer including the purchase price and shipping costs both ways upon return of the exact same item in the same condition it left. 2. A partial refund should you decide to keep the item. These only apply if I failed in my description in some way. If I mentioned the fault in my description the transaction falls under buyers remorse. I do not get hostile should someone win an auction and then discover that they are unable to follow through. All I ask is that you contact me to let me know. I will bend over backwards to help in any way I can. I am willing to do payment plans or even excuse the transaction without leaving negative feedback (although I will report it to ebay to recover my final value fees). Ebay will send a warning and nothing more unless the bidder abuses their bidding privilages by not paying in numerous auctions in which case they will be excluded from participating further with the ebay community. Talking to me rather than ignoring repeated email attempts is the way to resolve the problem. I treat others the way I want to be treated. POSTAGE, PACKING AND INSURANCE All merchandise is carefully packed to help prevent any damage in transit and is fully insured in the event of damage or loss by the delivery service (usually the United States Post Office). Foreign buyers are welcome but please do not ask me to lie on the customs forms as I will not do it. Additionally the cost of mailing to other countries will be higher and some countries charge very high tarriffs (taxes) on imports so please be aware of your countries policies with regard to recieving goods from overseas. PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED I accept checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, Paypal and Bidpay. Money orders and credit card payments get shipped as soon as possible, usually the next business day. Checks are held up to 14 days after the date of deposit. I ship based on deposit date and do not ask my bank whether specific checks have cleared so please have patience when sending payment by check. For quick shipment please pay by credit card or money order. Bounced checks will cost the bidder an extra $60.00 to cover my bank fees. STATE TAXES Tennessee residents pay 9 1/2% sales tax to help balance the governors bloated budget. Old Stuff, the Clarksville Antique Mall is located at 924 G. Providence BLVD. (41A). It is in the Mart Shopping Center at the corner of Dover Road and 41A right next to the outdoor flea market. The booths and showcases are stocked with quality antiques and collectibles. Additionally Clarksville also has a museum downtown and is home to the Civil War attraction Fort Defiance. This civil war fort was built to defend the river.
