Shipping and Handling Policies: 

We ship to within the Unites States Only.  Sorry, No International Shipping.

Residents of Alaska and Hawaii should check the S&H policy posted in each individual listing to confirm that the item up for sale is shipped to their state.  When in doubt, email us first.

Most of our items are shipped via US Mail, though we do use UPS or FEDEX on occasion for heavy or expensive items.

We ship no later than the next business day after payment is received and shipment information is emailed automatically.  No need to ask when we ship or if we can send tracking info.  (See below for information on how to track your item.)

Due to local zoning laws and the need for 3rd party confirmation of delivery, we cannot accommodate local pickups.

 

We do not ship on customer/corporate shipping company accounts. 


State Sales Tax Collected - Items Shipped to End Users in Michigan Only

We are obligated to remit 6% sales taxes for all items shipped to end users within the State of Michigan.  Sales tax is calculated on the entire purchase amount, including S&H.  Michigan buyers with a sales tax exemption certificate should contact us prior to making their purchase to avoid post-sale issues.

We are not obligated to collect and remit sales taxes for items shipped outside of Michigan.  Buyers should check with their State Treasurer's office for information on remitting sales/use tax on items purchased over the Internet.


Methods of Payment Accepted

  • We accept PayPal.  We accept credit cards, eChecks and Balance Transfers via PayPal.

What to Expect After Your Purchase/Winning Bid

  • If you made your purchase using a fixed price listing and immediate payment and shipping to a confirmed address, your work is done.

  • If you made your purchase by winning the bidding for an item in an auction-style listing, you'll receive an email from eBay informing you of your winning bid, and instructing you to return to the listing and complete the checkout/payment  process.  There is no need to wait for an invoice to be sent to you.

  • Be sure to check the shipping address for the transaction and verify that it's correct.  You can check this by logging into your PayPal account and viewing the transaction details.

  • You will receive a series of automatically generated emails.

    • An email acknowledging your winning bid/purchase

    • An email acknowledging the receipt of your payment

    • An email notifying you that your item has been prepared for shipping.

    • An email providing shipment information - this email shows you the shipping address - be sure to make verify it's correct.

     

  • Your item will ship within 1 business day.

    • Unless there is an issue with your order, we ship the same or the next business day after payment is received/clears.

     

  • Transit time varies depending on distance and method used:

    • Items shipped UPS Ground/FEDEX/Airborne/DHL normally take 1-5 business days.  The tracking number you'll be provided with will allow you to estimate the arrival date.

    • USPS First Class Mail parcels take 3-6 business days to arrive.

    • USPS Priority Mail parcels take 2-3 business days to arrive.

    • USPS Parcel Post parcels take 1-6 business days to arrive.

    • USPS Media Mail parcels take 7-12 business days to arrive.

     

  • Tracking your item once it has shipped:

    • You'll receive a shipment details email from PayPal or FEDEX/UPS. 

    • If you don't receive the email, you can find the shipment details by viewing the payment details within PayPal.

    • UPS/FEDEX/DHL/Airborne Tracking #s offer real-time progress update.

    • USPS Delivery Confirmation #s are not real-time tracking #s.  You will not be able to track the progress of these items, nor will you be able to see when the item was tendered the post office.  The only update you will eventually be able to see is when the item is finally delivered.

     

  • Delivery

    • Items valued over $250 may require a signature for delivery.

    • Items valued under $250 may require a signature as well, but this option is at our discretion.  If you would like your item to require a signature for delivery, please contact us prior to shipment of your item.  There may be an additional charge for this service for items valued under $250

    • Once your item is delivered, please inspect your item to verify it is what you purchased and was not damaged during shipment.  If there are any problems with the item, please contact us immediately.

     

  • Problems with Shipping/Delivery:

    • If your item does not arrive as expected please contact us immediately.  This includes items damaged in shipment, items that are not as described in the listing, and items for which tracking either shows no progress or show delivery but you've not taken possession of the item.

    • Items lost or damaged in transit must go through a claims process with the shipper.  We cannot provide a refund/replacement item until the claim process with the shipper has been completed.  This process can take 2-6 weeks depending on the circumstances of the case. (Less than 1/10th of 1 percent of items we've shipped have had issues that resulted in a damage/loss claim.)

     

Warranty and Return Policy

  • Products that arrive DOA or defective may be exchanged by contacting us within 14 days of receiving your item.

  • Warranty and support for the product is otherwise the responsibility of the item manufacturer.

  • We offer the option of an extended warranty for our eligible items through SquareTrade Warranty Services.  If an item has an extended warranty available for purchase, you'll find a link near the bottom of the listing.

 

Communication

  • You'll receive an email from us with winning bidder/purchase details, and emails confirming receipt of your payment and an email with shipment information.  If your email address on file with PayPal and eBay is not up to date, you won't get the emails.  Please make sure your email address on file with eBay and PayPal is correct.

  • If you use a free email service like Yahoo, HotMail, gmail, or AOL, be sure to check your bulk mail/spam folders.  If you have your email account setup to automatically delete spam/bulk mail, and our emails get mistaken form spam, you're going to miss out on some important info.

  • Please include the item # and your eBay user ID in all correspondence with us.  The more information you provide, the better faster we can serve you.

  • Because of the volume of transactions that we handle we use an automated system to provide feedback for our customers.

  • The system automatically leaves like-for-like feedback once an item has been purchased and paid for.

Q. My address in PayPal is confirmed, but I want it shipped to my work address.  Can you do this?

A.  Yes, just change the shipping address as you go through the paypal checkout process.

Q.  I'm purchasing this as a gift.  Can you ship the item directly to the recipient? 

A.   Yes, please see the previous question. 

Q.  How much is shipping to Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, etc.?

A.  We do not ship outside the 50 states.  Shipping prices are listed and fixed.

Q.  Can I get tracking info for the item I bought?

A.  Please see the tracking section by scrolling up on the page.

Q.  I live/work near you in Michigan.  Can I save on the shipping costs and just pick it up or meet you?

Q.  What does the NR in a listing title mean?

A.  No Reserve.  That means that there is no minimum final bid we'll accept.  Wherever the bidding ends, that's the price for which the item will sell.
