I am a retired physician (PA) and from Air Force days, a flight instructor (CFII Gold Seal) with connections to Southeast Asia in the 60s and 70s.
Back when I and Junior were better lookin' than Tom Cruise.
Or More Recent.
The Painter
Over the years, I found, as Picasso said, "You don't become a painter, you find that you are a painter," which is what you see below. And it has been said that I am a gifted writer.
I have sold works in the U.S. and Canada and a few pieces have even made their way to International collectors as well. Approximately 800-1000 (I never kept track.)
The Photojournalist
I used to write for several magazines in the Leica photography camera hobby press. I used their finest screwmount Summicron 50mm lenses first and a fine old IIIf RD. I would post more but can't hold onto the copyright here.
but not posted here because you lose your copyright to Photobucket. Email for pics, please.
My Old Digs - Mobile Home - Ultra Wide-angle lens
I lived in this 12x50 mobile home for 12 years. Lots of memories. Yep, it was a busy eyesight (sore) but everything was specially designed, placed and done to maximize space and honor these events. I had to paint the wood paneling two undercoats so the dark did not show through. The walls all were done in textile thread wallpaper and grasscloth behind the far-right shelves. Beside my chair is my furniture invention; where I sometimes park keyboards etc. The doors are all push-out magnetic catchs like on professional sound cabinets, and a place to keep things I want to find.
My New Housing Project for the Elderly
I moved 60 miles to be near my brother but he only lived a month. Its about the same size but I am not able to do all of the custom construction that had been put into the other. The drawers contain DVDs and CDs with writing and storage for materials behind a magnetic catch. The shelves contain a lot less. I didn't build an entire wall, so I didn't need the #150 drawer glides. I suppose in all, I am much better off. It's not the country so everything is closer. I should miss the Bose 901s, but the Bose 4.2s give good sound. The switches in all of the equipment need cleaning and adjusting but I don't have a local shop I trust like I did in Wichita.
