.about me. "air-lobster" (known as "Elly Sketchit" to her fans and "Michelle Taylor" to the folks in Mundania) is a 30-something year old freelance artist that loves BBC programming, anime, console and handheld gaming (survival horror), lobsters, poodles and more oddities. What I really like are weird stuffed animals. Not so much the "brand name" cartoon guys as ones that have their "own personality" because they're so twisted. If you think no one would ever love "that face" think again - I'd probably buy it from you. I also buy Roronoa Zoro stuff from the (Japanese, thanks, not the "kiddie" version) anime/manga ONE PIECE. I have what is the biggest Zoro fan site on the internet (roronoas.com) and I'm collecting data on Zoro merchandise. I do let my website viewers know if something isn't "right" on eBay, so for those selling unlicensed merchandise I always report it and let my viewers know. Many folks selling on eBay have started using my fansite for "info" to list Zoro merchandise, funny enough. Thanks for stopping by if you have! |

.searching for. I'm looking for several things. Please keep in mind that items are only worth what someone wants to pay for them. I won't pay $100 for a plush just because it's "vintage" (and that meaning it was a childhood toy of mine). I used to sell on eBay myself (when it was 'new', back in '00 or so) and there is a distinct difference between "reasonable profit" and "ripping people off".
Dakin Rainbow Hedgehogs I've been on the hunt for these little Dakin or Russ toys from around the mid-eighties - they were hedgehogs in all the colors of the rainbow and they had velcro butts so you could roll them up inside themselves like a hedgie ball. I have the orange one from back then but I always wanted all the colors. [No Image] Vintage Rubber Horse Monster Toy: I don't have any images for this, sadly, but I'm looking for a brown (and sometimes mottled with green) horse monster rubber toy figure from the 1970's-80's. It had a horn on it's muzzle (not forehead), teeth showing in an open mouth and large wings sprouting from its back. It was rearing up on it's hind hooves. I got mine from "Smithville", NJ way back in the day and am dying to find this again. [No Image] Tiny Orange/Yellow Dinosaur Toys: I may have an image of what one looked like in a bit, but for now these were itty-bitty flexible rubber guys that were mixed yellow and orange rubber. They were barely an inch tall sometimes and I bought them for a dime apiece from a store in an antique mall in NJ when I was little. I'm looking for any of them but really looking for the two-legged ones that stood upright. |
