History:
We have been buying and selling antique quilts for over 25 years, starting with antique Amish quilts. We found wonderful examples of Amish craftswomanship, with many of those graphic quilts in private collections and museums, such as the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. Many of our "finds" were professionally photographed and  can be found in various quilt calendars and quilt books.

What we're doing now:
With over 60 years of combined business experience, we sell quality antique quilts which we find at auction and in various communities. We are very knowledgeable when it comes to quilts and fabrics, which allows us to accurately identify and date our finds. We professionally hand launder our quilts, unless they are in realitively clean, unwashed, condition which some collectors find desirable. Since most of our quilts are over 100 years old, expect to find some flaws as it's very unusual to find them in mint condition. We are ALWAYS honest in calling any flaws we see (even the most minor ones), and NEVER offer any quilts made overseas, as we wouldn't want these inferior products in our own collection. Few of the quilts we find are "square", so when we measure our quilts, we line up all the corners (quilt is folded in fourths) and list the smallest measurement.  We at Americas Antiques LLC pride ourselves in being able to offer freshly laundered antique quilts whenever possible.  Here's our reasoning - if we purchase a quilt that is stained or has odors, we feel our customers would literally "turn up their noses", and who would blame them!  Wouldn't you prefer to have a quilt that is clean and fresh, with the previous owners' stains, germs and odors removed?  A quilt that can be given as a gift or immediately used to decorate a room?  Well, so do we!!  Come take a look at the fresh-to-the-market quilts we offer every week at our eBay store - Americas Antiques LLC!  Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially if you're looking for a particular color - not all computer monitors are alike, and sometimes what the seller sees is not reflected on your monitor.  In order to utilize yesterdays quilts on todays beds, you'll need to know the bed size.  The following sizes allow a quilt to cover the mattress on all sides with 2" below where the mattress and box springs meet (with just the mattress top sizes in parentheses). Twin or Queen Waterbed - 72" x 105" (39" x 75"), Full or King Waterbed - 87" x 108" (54" x 75"), Queen - 93 to 96" x 110" (60" x 80"), King - 110" x 110" (76" x 80", CA King 72" x 84"). You should be able to take the size listed in the quilt description and match it to your needs. We feel our quilts are the BEST listed on eBay and our feedback reflects this. Rest assured that our quilts are as good as described and pictured or, in most cases, EVEN BETTER!
