Our Policy: - If we can’t ship it, we will not charge it.
- Factory orders 50% down and balance when we are ready to ship.
- We pre-pay our suppliers with our money or immediate payment terms.
- Never wire 100% in advance without confirmation that the product is being loaded or shipping immediately and never send a check or cashiers check in advance without confirmation in writing. A deposit will be taken on orders and we will charge you when we have done our job.
- Credit card companies clearly state a vendor’s obligation to ship the product within 24 hours of processing the transaction.
- Our goal is to make certain that North American Auto Equipment never processes a credit card transaction for a customer without a clear and accurate lead time for shipping.
Canadian and Mexican customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, and, if applicable, brokerage fees to clear the equipment purchased through customs. A commercial invoice will be provided to the customer and the customs broker (provided we get that information) and the freight company delivering the equipment. North American Auto Equipment will not and cannot assume responsibility for these charges.
IMPORTANT! - Credit cards will not be the means by which we cash flow our business; it is your money and not a loan. It is Very Important that you receive this information in writing from any vendor that wants to pre-charge your credit card and tie up your money for 2 or 3 months. If the equipment vendor shuts down, the credit card company comes back after you the consumer; if there is no bank account to charge back with the vendor – you pay.
