We provide an estimated shipping price for each listing to continental USA residential street addresses (insurance included) via UPS Ground.  Note that these estimates do not apply to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii or International shipping. Actual shipping will be stated on the invoice for all addresses. Email us for a shipping quote on a listing, or for UPS use the shipping calculator.

Insurance is included in the shipping charge on all items.

We accept PayPal. CA residents please add 8.25% sales tax, and take advantage of our lower shipping costs inside CA. If you are paying outside of the USA, you must pay through PayPal. Look for our other listings at Avalon Traders and combine your purchases to save on shipping.
 

If one of the following has occurred, please follow the return directions below:

Incorrect Identification: All items are researched and identified to the best of our ability. If we have positively identified an item with no caveats in the identification, and we are incorrect, you may return the item for a full refund including shipping in both directions, providing the security markings are intact.

Significantly Misrepresented Item: If an item is significantly misrepresented in condition, color, size, etc., you may return the item for a full refund including shipping in both directions, providing the security markings are intact. If you choose to keep the item nonetheless, we will not refund partial amounts of sale price.

Item Condition: For China, Glassware & Pottery items, we follow the guidelines for describing flaws per the GPSA (Glass & Pottery Sellers’ Association) and this will be the basis for determining the condition of the item. Personal opinions will always vary and the GPSA guidelines will be used for final determination of the accuracy of our description of flaws.

Breakage: If your shipment arrives damaged make sure that you keep the packaging, and the damaged item, as the shipping company will want to inspect it. Do not clean the item or remove our security marks.

Unsatisfied for any other reason: Provided you notify us within 5 days of receipt of item you may return the item for a full refund, not including shipping in either direction, providing the security markings are intact.

Return/Refund directions

1) Notify us within 5 days of receipt of package and provide written reason (via email) for refund request (one of those listed above).

2) If disputing identification of item, please provide source of information (i.e. website, etc.) If the item is determined to be a fake or forgery (although this has never happened), or incorrectly identified, we will provide a full refund, including shipping in both directions.

3) All of our items are shipped with security markings. Marking must be completely intact before we will process a refund, do not clean the items. Returned merchandise without this marking will not be refunded under any condition, and you will be required to pay shipping in advance if you would like us to return this item to you.

4) Refunds will be processed within 3 days of receipt of returned merchandise and verification it is in original condition with security markings intact.
