Welcome To Bead A Ton Bear
So your wondering why Bead A Ton Bear? Well it all starts with a Bear a cat and a button. I am Bear aka Ron. Cat is my wife Kerina and we have 3 lovely daughters (they take after there mom.) We are BeadATonBear. For all The Scouters out there wondering why we have Three daughters and deal in mostly Boy Scout Items its Because I am an Active Eagle Scout, and Member of The Order of the Arrow and We Love to Bead. I must Thank My Scout Master from the Early 80s who tought me the art of beading thank you John!!!!!
Partly, Thanks to his gift of teaching me Bead Work and because I took the right Bus out of Federal Way, WA. one night I met my Wonderful Wife Kerina Who is Northern Cheyenne and must have felt I needed more help with my beading. Kerina Has helped Alot! :)

Czechoslovakian seed beads are the finest, most uniform sized beads made.
They are sold by the "hank" or an equivalent weight.
A hank is a series of strings of beads with a total length of 240 inches.
Size 10/0 is the largest "seed" bead, while 13/0 is the smallest commonly available.
For all those who keep asking, we have the following approx. numbers of beads per hank.
Sorry it took so long to count individual beads :) but here they are.
Diffrent bead Finishes Opaque (OP), Transparent (TR), Lustered (LUS), Siilverlined (SL), Aurora Borealis Iris or Rainbow (AB), Pearl, Colorlined (CL), Metallic (MET), Silk or Satin. And rarely I use OH Mulpible Textures (OMT)
Please keep in mind that colors are difficult to show on computer screen, I Try my hardest to get a good picture! Always order enough of a color to complete a project, but individual dye lots will also vary.
