About Jake's Minerals


Jake's Minerals relates to minerals ---prospecting for them, buying them, selling them, photographing them, studying them, and writing about them--- as fun. Sites directly affiliated with Jake's Minerals are the Mineral Bliss blog at  http://www.mineralbliss.blogspot.com and the Maryland Minerals web site at http://www.marylandminerals.com . The Mineral Bliss blog offers a different story that relates to mineral collecting every week. The Maryland Minerals site is devoted to minerals and the pursuit of mineralogy in the State of Maryland in the United States.

Unique and rare minerals, especially micromounts, are a specialty amidst an ever evolving inventory that encompasses a range of sizes and price categories. Minerals from eastern states in the US, Maryland, and Pennsylvania in particular, are always part of the mix. Jake's Minerals is privileged to serve an active buyer base that spans the globe.

To help perpetuate the future of mineralogy as a hobby,  an eclectic selection of interesting and often rare minerals is always included at at prices affordable to youthful collectors with limited financial resources.
