Bethy's Boyds Bears - and more!


 I collect and sell mostly Boyds bears, but my "hug" has expanded in recent years to include antique teddies, vintage teddies, artist bears, and other manufactured bears like Steiff and Hermann.  I edited the second edition of the Boyds Tracker books, and recently have been writing articles and a regular column for Teddy Bear Review.  I love to shop for bears!

 I try to find clean used and vintage plush of all types, I only sell things I would be happy to have in my own home.  I look for unusual and whimsical plush, something to make you laugh or smile. 

I have been on eBay for more than 10 years now, and  I take pride in shipping quickly and packing cleanly and carefully.  One of my pet peeves is receiving an item that has just been tossed into an envelope or thrown in a box with no padding or protection from dampness - I treat my items with care and my buyers with respect.  My items are all from a non smoking home and maintained in excellent condition.

Yes I have pets, but I don't let my bears fraternize with my pets!!  Condition is the most important part of a collectible and if an item is not in top condition you should think carefully before purchasing, even if it is a great buy. Research your seller - eBay works best when you have confidence in the person you are doing business with - I hope my feedback speaks to that.

When you cannot see, smell or touch the item you are purchasing then you are relying on the reputation of the seller. I am happy to promptly respond to any questions about my listed items or any other Boyds questions you might have.

I also love critters of all kinds !

My husband and I own three Basset Hounds, a Beagle, and 11 cats. All but one were adopted as strays, from shelters, or Basset Rescue. We recently added a Guinea Pig!

Please - if you are considering getting a pet, check with your local shelter, Humane Society, or Rescue organizations who work to place pets with good loving homes.

Remember to spay and neuter !
