Still taking a break from felting, its just been one thing after another. Lost my cat mochi to sudden illness, then the house we rent to foreclosure. Losing the place we rent had a silver lining, after much searching and being outbid multiple times, we finally have bought our own little 90+ year old house in the historic Niles district of Fremont. We will be moving soon as we do a bit of work and hopefully soon as we get settled in I will be back to felting.

Bri comes back from the fair
heres a bit about me I live in CA with my husband, and my son and 4 cats. I collect dolls, composition mostly especially the early American compos, but also a few others. I do doll restorations sometimes. My husband builds solid state tesla coils and other high voltage projects
April's fine felted felines:
Hand needle felted cats are my favorite, but once and a while I choose another subject, each is OOAK (one of a kind)I use fine wools and take my time to make sure everything is just right. Needle felting is a process where you start with wool and use a barbed needle to push the wool into forming the felt sculptures you see. It takes many hours to create one. My creations are mostly miniature and all are solid felted all the way through.
I also work with polymer clays I love creating fairies and whimsical creatures. Most of my cats have polymer clay noses and paw pads I also list from time to time clothing, vintage items and dolls.
This page is dedicated to Witchy, who is no longer with us but her pictures and memory will always remain. She was more than a cat, a faithful and loving friend. She is missed by many and will never be forgotten.
