Our posters are rare and genuine theater-used materials for films which had a U.S. theatrical release from the 1950's through today. We also carry foreign movie posters, including Belgian, Japanese, Polish, Czech and more. We do not sell reproductions or fakes and we are a LAMP-approved dealer.

All posters are guaranteed originals and were issued for the original theatrical release of the film, unless otherwise noted. All posters noted as folded have been previously unfolded and preserved in mylar sleeves against acid-free board (and, in most cases, will be rolled and tubed for shipment). All posters are guaranteed to be as described in their listing or they may be returned for a full refund, postage included, within 7 days of receipt, provided they are received back in the same condition. All posters are packaged securely and shipped in sturdy boxes, flat packs or tubes, as the case may be. Our highest grade for poster condition is “mint”. Please see our

Returns:
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us and we are not satisfied unless you are. All items are guaranteed to be as described or they may be returned for a full refund, postage included, provided they are received back in the same condition within 7 days of receipt. We also require that you notify us of your intention to return the item within 48 hours of receiving it. All return shipments must be shipped insured, and in the original packaging (if possible).

Our shelves are stocked with a large selection of rare and collectible books, including signed, first edition copies of horror, science fiction, fantasy, and crime. We have a passion for both the genres we feature and the actual collection, construction and discovery of rare books from all over the world. We have an appreciation for not just the magnificent stories housed here, but the craft of bookmaking and the art of collecting.
For over 30 years, we have been gathering the best in horror, science fiction, fantasy and crime titles. When we began, we purchased first edition copies of our favorite authors, like Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft, simply because we identified them as the best in their field and couldn’t wait to devour their every word. It wasn’t until years later that we realized the significance of our early collection.
As our appetite for horror, science fiction, fantasy and crime grew, we also began to develop an interest in other materials tied to the novels, including movie posters and original screenplays. Soon enough, we had amassed a substantial collection of original film art from both American and international markets, including Poland, the Czech Republic and Japan. Along the way, our longtime obsession with the trial of Lizzie Borden and all things related to the infamous spinster, became satiated as we amassed a collection of books and other historical items related to the memorable case and its outcome. This collection will soon be available online as part of our Lizzie Borden Collection.
Bloody Rare Books, LLC has, therefore, been many years in the making and represents a culmination of hard work and a great love for the world of horror, science fiction, fantasy and crime.
