Payment: Thank you for your bid in my auction or sale! Payments are accepted via Pay Pal and are appreciated immediately. If requested before or at the close of auction payments will be accepted up to within 3 days of auction end. I have become a Pay Pal Verified User to make you feel as secure with this transaction as possible. Pay Pal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express. If payment is not received, the item will be relisted and other action may be taken. I take your business seriously and when nonpaying bidders bid with no intent to pay, it hurts us all. Thanks in advance for understanding. Shipping: Buyer pays shipping charges, unless otherwise noted. (For example, some auctions will offer free shipping with 'buy it now' purchases.) There will be a shipping calculator on most regular auctions. Please, use this to calculate your total shipping cost. In some cases, I'll list a flat shipping rate which will be noted in the auction ad. I'm happy to ship internationally whenever possible. I'm also very conscientious about sending items in a timely manner. I ship as soon as possible, once cleared payment is received AND will combine multiple purchase shipping for items won within 2 days if I'm first informed. The eBay checkout page should automatically apply shipping discounts which will vary depending on the current special. Your item will be packaged as well as I know how. Clothing is packaged in boxes, and fragile items are wrapped in bubble wrap and/or styrofoam packing nuts unless they are in their original box in which case they are prepacked. Bonus Offers: In addition to reduced shipping, many of the items I offer have added bonus items. During the holidays I offer gift wrapping services on select items. Any extras are mentioned in the listings. Sales and Specials: I often run promotions. Please, check my listings. If you see something you like, please bid or make sure you snag it in 'buy it now', because if an item doesn't have a bid on it, it may sell elsewhere, like in one of the shops I sell to. Unlike other sellers, though, I will never pull an item if it has bids on it. Repeat, I will not prematurely end an auction with bids EVER. I simply do not think that it's good business. $1 and Under Auctions: Many people have asked how I can list items at a $1 or under starting bid. Their contention is that maybe it's not worth more. However, in all honesty, I try to start items at the lowest possible starting bids to generate interest. My $1 auctions are my 'loss leaders', meaning that even if I lose money on that item (which I have done a few times), at least, I have attracted a new customer. AND I figure everyone loves a bargain, don't they? I sure do! Refunds, Returns & NO-Regrets: Typically, I do not offer refunds. My goal is to make sure you receive items exactly as you expect them or better. Please read descriptions thoroughly to avoid confusion and when in doubt, don't hesitate to ask questions. Also, please be aware that the previously owned items in my listings are generally in good to excellent condition but have probably been worn and may show signs of wear. I have described these items to the best of my ability. If something is not right, I will do everything within reason to make it right. Additionally, it is highly suggested, if not required on some very fragile items, that you purchase shipping insurance to protect your investment. About Me: So, if you really came to this page wondering what about me, here it is in a nutshell... I got it honest. My grandma, a self-proclaimed, "pack-rat from a way back", got me started with 'collecting'. Many items will have come from either my grandma or my mother if not from my own bunch. My amazing hubby and I have 5 awesome kids and we live out in the boonies. Pretty much everything and anything will eventually be listed in...
My auctions: There's a lot of variety and value in my listings, as I
hope you've seen. I try and describe my items as best and honestly as I can, as
well as represent with clear photos (though sometimes my camera has other
plans). I scrupulously look for flaws and mention any found. I am only human though and it's possible I might miss something. But wait! There's more: When I first got started on ebay, I was not successful right off the bat. In fact, I didn't sell either of my first two listings. I gave up on ebay for about a year. Meanwhile, I had not given up on my lifelong ambition to run my own business. I had been doing so off and on for several years, but kept going back to the "corporeal" world for steady pay. It was when I was laid off from the Starbucks Dallas office that I began researching online business resources again. Having once worked for many years at the library, I knew my best guide would be my local branch. So, I began perusing the shelves for any clue into the success of online merchants. Thinking that a book about amazon would have answers, I stumbled instead upon the roots of ebay and it was that book that actually gave me a wealth of information. It got me started on my ebay research path, as well as my journey into buying and selling on ebay. Since then, I pick up any information I can on the subject of selling on ebay. But it was those first few ebay books that really inspired me. That and the desire to honor my grandmother's memory by offering many of her things to people who will appreciate them with the same zeal that she did. (Obviously, I keep those things which have sentimental value. ) I've been having a blast on ebay ever since and am sure I'll be here for a long time. (At least until the barn is clear ;) Thank you for your interest and God Bless. bohemiattic
PS. I've got my Mom hooked on ebay too!
