One of my good days at Redding, CA NFAA 3-D Marked National Championship

I started shooting a bow when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I have shot Archery competition, Hunted with both recurve and compound and taken over 200 big game animals, promoted tournaments and general archery, and been a state and National Officer. I am a life member of the California Bowmen Hunters and State Target Archers and the National Field Archery Association. I built and marketed recurves back in the 1970's and the Striker Compound line of bows during the early 1980's. I made my living 100 per cent from archery since I was 21 years old. Hence the nickname "bowpro". MY History --- Please do not get to bored! I started Bonnie Bowman Archery in 1966 working out of a "Van" and then moved into a building that was large enough for a small Indoor Archery Lanes. Eventually I enlarged the business to over 10,000 square feet and 19 great employees. I am Semi-retired, I now do business as NORRIS ARCHERY. Please check out my favorite places at the end of this resume. I have been very fortunate in my archery career and have been on the Martin Archery Shooting Staff for a number of years. I shoot a Martin Scepter III Sunburst with Elite XRG limbs with the Fury X Cams at 52 pounds. I have been shooting with Rick McKinney's Carbon Tech 525 Cheetah Arrows. Naturally I weigh and balance them myself to plus or minus 1 tenth of a grain. My arrows are fletched with Flex Fletch FP 300 vanes. I clean my vanes with my new tool I am selling here on Ebay and in my Ebay store I switched from Cobra sights, I now aim with the Spot Hogg Hogg-it 5 pin fibre-optic sight. WOW this sight is awesome, I just could not allow my competition to get an advantage on me! I always carry and use a NIKKEN PI Mag Water bottle and wear "Magsteps" insoles in my shoes along with a magnetic back flex on my lower back. I moved north east about 150 miles and now live in the beautiful Northern California foothills. I won my first NFAA National title when I was 20 years old in 1961. During 2001 at the NFAA National 3-D Marked yardage Championships in Redding California I placed 1st in the Men's Senior Bowhunter Freestyle Limited division. I was fortunate to repeat in Redding May 4th and 5th 2002. AAA-HA I could not three-peat in 2003.... Congratulations to the Senior Champions since 2002 as I have not been able to compete since then. I will return on of these days. During January 2002 I was inducted into the California Bowmen Hunters and State Archers Association Hall of Fame. This honor lets me join 75 outstanding people that in my opinion greatly helped California Archery. I hope I can prove worthy and continue to stay active.
