Brandenburg Historica was founded in 1996 by a group of experienced military memorabilia collectors, amateur military historians and aficionados of military march music who were dissatisfied with the offerings of the "usual sources".
In combing their own, vast collections they believed that the time had come for a new company devoted strictly to providing high quality and unusual material to a discerning clientèle composed largely of military historians, educators, living history enthusiasts, reenactors, collectors, and museums.
Our sales associates travel throughout the world looking for new and unusual products, enabling us to offer interesting and varied material which is rarely, if ever available in any one place.
What Do We Offer?
We offer one of the largest selections of reference works for the military collector and historian, as well as many unusual, hard-to-find titles relating to diverse topics in German military, regional and political history.
Our Military Music selection is now over 60 titles, featuring magnificent compact discs and cassettes of German traditional marches performed by leading military bands of the former DDR and Federal Republic of Germany, as well as the extensive Third Reich Documentary Series of historic, pre-1945 archival recordings.
Our inventory, acquired from our extensive network of European sources, includes original World War I and II German insignia, medals and field gear, plus a large and interesting selection of East and West German medals and decorations.
