About Me:
Dig long drives to anywhere scenic
Accomplished speller that doesn't always translate into typing!
Artistic as all hell (brain never shuts off) -> ->->
Sleep deprived (all goes hand in hand)
Obsessed by all things vintage: dishes, fabric, ephemera, jewelry, dog figurines, bird cages, heart shaped rocks, furniture, pictures (esp. pictures!), flower frogs, prints, paintings, anything floral, or lacey, or pink or tiffany box blue or that martha stewart green color
My bedroom looks like Easter exploded! (Sorry Hon...)
I am a partaker of estate sales, auctions, resale shops and the like... I am a perennial treasure hunter and mighty good @ it.
Chicken Farmer (another thing to scratch off the things to do before I'm dead list... )
Animal Lover (domestic & otherwise).
Can't sing worth a hoot, but still do it.
I dream in color and sometimes in French.
I collect quotes and silver baby cups and 1,000,000 other things.
I enjoy road trips, photography, Grey's Anatomy (do you have a person? I have 4. Hello Jackie, Geri, Maureen & Pamela), reading, geology (ie: heart shaped rocks) and someday I will live in a cottage by the sea with a dog named Bijou.
If you see a girlie forcing stuff to fit into the back of her vehicle while trying to keep her hair out of her eyes @ a garage sale it's probably me! Look for the Large Coke in the cup holder and you've definitely spotted me. I can make ANYTHING fit in the back of my Landcruiser.
I can also be found soaking in my garden tub, being inspired in my little art studio or permanently attached to my computer chair that desperately needs to be replaced. Or packing eBay orders! Love to do that!!!
I'm a fan of PBS, kindness, pug dogs, Colorado, long autumn days, nesting in general and making stuff with paper.
Thank you for stopping by my "official" me page. Heart-Shaped Rock Cottage is a store founded on the the golden rule. I'll be sharing things that make my heart beat faster from glue sticks made in Italy to 1930's powder compacts. My inventory will constantly change. Once it's gone it's probably gone for good. I want to keep it interesting for both of us. Wishing you the very best.
