Welcome to Casajewelry
Hi! Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I suppose you would like to know a little about Casajewelry and myself. I have been a manufacturer of finished jewelry, mainly Victorian and romantic stylings, for the last 15 years. I sold to department stores, gift shops, boutiques and wholesalers. I have never sold my items as a retailer, so dealing with the crafter and other small businesses is a little different for me. A combination of the economy, dealing with sales reps and the fact that I am just plain burned out with designing, caused me to close my shop in June of 2000. I knew nothing about eBay or selling on the internet and I was computer illiterate! But, I wanted to sell off my vast inventory of finished jewelry, crystals, beads, findings, components, machinery, etc. and the idea of using eBay to do this seemed intriguing and didn't look that hard. Boy, did I have a lot to learn! I have put in more time doing eBay than at almost any other time manufacturing jewelry, but it has turned into a labor of love. The best thing that has developed because of this, is being able to work out of my home and to be able to sneak off fishing. I am very pleased with the whole situation and really don't mind all the time I am devoting to my new venture. I have recently been awarded Power Seller status by eBay, which I am very proud of. I am especially enjoying all the new relationships I have developed through eBay and look forward to making even more new friends. As always, I am happy to assist any of my customers with problems relating to jewelry making(anything else and you are on your own!). I don't know everything on the subject, but am glad to offer what I do know.
I have decided to continue supplying findings and components now that most of my finished jewelry is long gone. Some good news to share is I have only scratched the service of the items I will be listing on eBay.
