Decorating With Stencils I started stenciling in 1984.   Stenciling is fun because the design is already cut out, so there is no drawing involved. You can use stencils on many craft projects.  The stencils i sell are made of mylar (plastic) and can be used over and over again. I sell Stencils in many designs, Nautical, Wildlife, Floral, Animal, and many types Embossing, Wall Stencil Borders, Theorems, Large Borders, Craft stencils If this is your first try at stenciling, i would suggest trying it on paper first until you feel comfortable with it.  One of the best tips i can give, is when you stencil, you use very little paint, almost a dry brush.  I would just rub the excess paint off on my old newspapers.  If you have too much paint on your brush, it can bleed under the design .   You can also do some shading, which will give depth. Take a look at  the shading on the welcome and the horses body. This can be achieved by stenciling in a lighter shade, then going back over it with a darker color.  Practice, but remember to have fun with it.
