An eBay Trading Assistant
We offer new and vintage collectible items; beading supplies, hand made items like the crown of thorns, unusual gifts, books, and lots of differnt types of items. All very cool. I am an eBay Trading Assistant and therefore I am asked to sell many differnt types of things. Some vintage, some collectible, some new.
I am the leader of an eBay Mentoring Group for Newbies, the Northwest Akron Newbies Roundtable. I started this to meet others in my area and help them in getting started. I have found again that it's true what they say - "When you learn you learn once, when you teach you learn twice." I have been so enriched by the people in my group who come to the meetings and share their ideas, issues and questions. One gal has become a power seller from scratch in about 6 months or less, from being a part of the group and taking seriously the information shared.

I am also on a few volunteer programs with eBay. I again help others with listing issues, auction research, trust and safety issues, internet, eBay, and Paypal safety and use. Protecting your assets on the web is a major part of what eBay and Paypal are about. I try to answer questions, and steer fellow Newbie eBayers in the right directions.
I highly recommend using the eBay site map, help pages, online chat and Paypal help for questions. Some of the information is just so needed to do business safely on the internet I think it should be mandatory reading. We are so well protected on eBay.
