The Real Me

My name is Christine Schwartzkopf,but i go by Christi.I have painted off and on for fun since i was young,and that was long ago,i did my first oil painting when i was about thirteen(my older sister is an artist and she helped me),well my black and white cows in a pasture looked like dalmations in a lot of grass.At least thats what my mother said,so i did'nt paint again for a long time.I was always doodling,trees and womans faces, i loved to draw woman and do their hair,face and clothes mostly in school when i should have been listening.and that is all i did  except get married,have kids,get job,divorced,at this time in my life i took an art class that a friend talked me into and was hooked, in oils and acrylics,bright acrylics and i liked it.
The Newer Me

So,i started painting,but i had children so i had to work full time.well i remarried and raised my children time passed as it loves to do, and about twelve years ago my mother became unable to care for herself,needless to say,we moved to take care of her.i tried to continue to work but it was to hard.so i became a full time care giver.i was able to paint,in fact i started tole painting for another lady. which i could bring the crafts home and still care for my mother.all was going fine until i started getting short of breath.But i just put things off,i did stop smoking,but not soon enough.Mom was getting worse and she passed away last year.To make a long story shorter,i have COPD and now am totally disabled,What i was unable to do most of my life is now my only way to support myself.i also was never able to have a dog because of working so much and now,yikes, i have eight chihuahuas,that are like a bunch of two year olds.One cat and a love bird.I also have several grandkids that are growing up to fast.And a lot of time to paint,paint,paint,and i wish a lot to sell,sell, sell,thanks,if you took time to read all of this,not to boring,i hope,christi
