VINTAGE CHIC

I am the proverbial treasure hunter always looking for interesting items at garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores. I have a great eye for "finds" and good deals which I enjoy passing on to others. I have been buying and selling antiques and collectibles on and off for about 12 yrs.  I love buying on Ebay and think selling what I find the greatest way to keep on finding and buying treasures! I don't always know what I have found but with the internet it sure makes it easier to figure it out. Determining the value of an item is much harder than finding out what it is but it has always been said that a buyer is the one who determines value. I have been collecting depression and carnival glass for about 20 yrs now.  I have over 600 pcs. which means alot of dusting!

 

 		 

I am also an artist who enjoys transforming ugly items that nobody would think twice about owning or keeping and turning them into something new.  Most people can't see the potential an item has and I guess that is to my advantage.  Most of the time it is just a bit of paint and TLC  to make something new again. I  also do alot of decorative finishes and paint murals for people.
