The Songs of Hope Online Auction is produced by the Music and Entertainment Industry Group for City of Hope. Founded by a group of key industry executives nearly 30 years ago, this industry-driven support group has raised in excess of $30 million to support ongoing programs at City of Hope through various benefit events, promotions and partnerships. Today the group has grown to include all the major music labels such as Universal Music Group and Warner Bros., and their associated concerns. For 90 years, City of Hope medical discoveries have brought hope and healing to people everywhere. Many of the procedures used in medical centers throughout the world such as bone marrow transplantation were pioneered at City of Hope, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Recent advances in genetic research and molecular medicine, combined with state-of-the-art facilities and an environment that nurtures the best and brightest thinkers, foretell an even more promising future. The philanthropic spirit of our hundreds of thousands of volunteers nationwide provides the support that enables our doctors and researchers to continue their lifesaving work.
