About Us
We are a small, mom & pop operation
based in Southern California. We have been in the book business since 2001,
and expanded to toys when our son became interested in collectible toys.
So, our toy selection is based on our own family, and we hope that you
enjoy the items we carry. Most are new, but we do occasionally sell our
children's used items as well. All items are clearly labeled new or used.
We are not a collectibles store. Are items are new, but we don't guarantee
that a card may not have a small bend or crease. If you are concerned about
these issues, please email us, and we'll check the specific item's condition.
If you are looking for something you don't see in our store, feel free
to email us, and we'll see if we can get it for you.
How We Grade Books
LIKE NEW: Almost as if it were just
purchased. May have a very faint spine crease, but appears new.
VERY GOOD: Definitely showing wear,
but not damaged. Usually a clean, tight copy.
GOOD: Obviously read. Covers probably
show moderate wear, a hinge is cracked in front or back; some minor spine
fading might be present, the binding scuffed. Perhaps the book is even
a little shaken, not quite as tight as it used to be. All in all, the condition
shows the book has been around for a while and used. No really major defects.
FAIR: Worn and used. Cover soiled,
scuffed, evidence of repairs, shaken, perhaps a page torn here or there.
The book has definitely been around.
Shipping Information
We generally ship
Mondays & Wednesdays. Payment must be received by 8pm Pacific
time the day prior to mailing in order for an item to be shipped on those
days. During the Holiday season, we generally ship more often, sometimes
every day. If you need your item shipped more quickly, please email us
and we will do our best to accomodate your needs.
With the above information in mind, and
based on information provided by the US Postal Service, it is a good idea
to follow the guidelines below to ensure the timely delivery of your purchases.
During the Holidays, we recommend adding a week to the timeframes below.
Please make the payment for your purchases accordingly.
If you have not received your item within
the expected timeframe, please contact us so that we can request the postal
service to trace the item. We always recommend insurance, as it makes
an item much more easily traceable, but it also ensures that you can get
your money back if the post office loses your item.
