Gregory M. "DOC" Lousignont, Ph.D. G.M. "DOC" Lousignont, Ph.D. Welcome! I'm a former police officer who has been a licensed private detective since 1977. I have a Ph.D. in Criminal Psychology, and Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I've developed several written Psychological tests that are sold throughout the United States, Great Britain, New Zealand, and Australia. I have served as a member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Use of Force Review Board. I have been a part time instructor at the Police Training Academy, and have also taught Criminal Investigation at the local college. In 1987 I built my own 4400 sq. ft. office building which is located approx. 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. My business operation takes up the entire building. I work as a consultant on marketing and police and security matters and I have had articles published in over 300 magazines. I enjoy motivational writing and speaking. I am proud to have had my works published in such books as, "Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul", "The Book of Wisdom", and "Heavenly Helpings". MY HOBBIES & SPECIAL INTERESTS I started dating my wife when she was 16 and I was 19. We got married in 1970 after she turned 18 and graduated from high school. We have three wonderful kids, 2 boys and 1 girl. Our oldest son is in dental school, and got married August 2003. Our next oldest son graduated from UNLV summa cum laude in December of 2003 and will be attending UNLV dental school with his brother. Our daughter is 13 and attends St. Anne grade school here in Las Vegas. Surprising I have time for anything else. I've been an advanced certified Scuba Diver since 1977 and really enjoy going to California for live aboard scuba driving trips. I'm also very involved in electronic prospecting for gold using a metal detector. I use a Minelab metal detector made in Australia. I'm also a dealer for this line of metal detectors, recognized as the best in the world. My other hobbies include marketing various interesting items on Ebay. because of my dedicated office staff my primary business pretty much runs itself; ao I have a lot of free time.
