I WAS 61 in June!!! Oh My, I don't know where the years have gone. I started learning to sew when I was age 7, Long, Long time ago. I Was Married to a Darling Man named Steven a retired truck driver of 40 years. His Cancer finally got the best of him on May 1st.    I miss him greatly, but I still talk to him daily.   No he does not answer in words, but things have a way of working the way he would have wanted.        I have two children Julie age 40 married to Russell and Mother to William. Jerad my Tall gorgeous son is age 32. I have 3 dachshunds,  Magnolia (Maggy) (red boar) , Valentine Rose (we call her Rose 9 lbs of trouble she thinks she is a doberman Back N Tan Silver Dapple) and White Lily (piebald dachshund). I would be so lost without my little dogs.  

 If you have time for a fresh cup of coffee come on in and I will give you a cup and show you my jillion yards of fabric and my work area. And if you know how to sew that is even better. I might put you to work!

I hurt my back several years ago and of course no one would hire me. Social Security said I could find a job, but wouldn't help me locate a job.  I decided I would create my own job, But, who knew I would be sewing full time.  Perfect job for me. I get to stay at home, do what I want when I want and I AM the Boss! I come from a family of big women and everyone has a terrible time finding clothes that fit, are affordable and have some color. Who wants to wear black and brown all the time? Alas a Business was born! I have been sewing  using other peoples fabric. As long as I have good measurements and enough fabric I am willing to give it a go. BUT, I don't do buttonholes!!!!! If you have a minute check out my feedback it is super and I am so proud. I try to keep at least 50 items listed, but usually more. Have fun shopping and if you don't find your size email and lets talk. I very rarely do phone calls, I would Never get any sewing done.

We have been back in Illinois going on 2 years. bought this old 2 story farmhouse (1915) that needed work, but was liveable. I am now 40 miles in East and West Directions from the kids.  And, I do so love seeing my children more than once a year!

Mom bought a house a mile from us and her life is really full. Mom is 82 now and still sewing her quillows.  I have them also listed. They are just darling and one of the Most Useful gifts to give. 

when Mom needs to see her eye doctor I take her in and out.  Mom had a cancer on her kidney and they removed it!  Then they put her on a cancer preventitive drug and she did fine for about 2-1/2 weeks then she she got wicky wacky  In the latter part of the 3rd week  I had to put her in the Hospital.    This sure gave us a scare.    Well, we did find out she is cancer free with all the tests they ran.     BUT, she is not going back on that drug.   2009 has been something and I am glad we only live each year once. Carol
