Couture Closet is located near Baltimore's bustling Inner Harbor, about 3 blocks from the famed InterContinental Hotel in the heart of the upscale-bohemian Federal Hill neighborhood! The boutique features a wide selection of sizes and styles and of course it's only the world's top designers at an average price of 85% off retail! For non-members the store hours are convenient but they do vary so please call or email (sales@couturepalace.com) for your 30-minute appointment - you will have the store and dressing room for your party alone in a comfortable no-pressure environment. It's the perfect shopping excursion when you need a break from Baltimore's tourist scene but don't want to drive!

Who We Are

CoutureCloset is the eBay side of our search & style office - our associates specialize in tracking down hard-to-find runway pieces for private clients. Although 90% of our business is private, we do offer some pieces on eBay so that the public can purchase authentic, important designer pieces at a small fraction of retail. We specialize in Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors Collection but we carry a wide range of the most significant contemporary designers.

Sorry, This is Not WalMart!

Unfortunately we don't accept returns. Period. You WILL get incredible discounts on the world's most expensive designer and couture pieces. You will NOT get to try things on and return them if they don't fit right or match something else. If you are looking for exact shades or sizes we suggest you purchase your clothing offline.

We only offer refunds if an item is not authentic. We sell only guaranteed authentic clothing. We have never sold a fake - it's illegal and pointless for us. If a buyer claims an item is not authentic, they are expected to have that claim verified by a company representative. Of course, this has never and will never happen because we don't sell fakes!

We do not accept returns because the buyer expected a different color. Color is difficult to depict precisely because of lighting, camera settings, monitor settings, and the subjective nature of color description (Our "buttercup yellow" may be your "canary yellow") so you should expect the color to have reasonable variance.

We do not accept returns because of condition. Insofar as possible we try to list everything accurately, noting handling and any fabric pulls. However, many of these pieces have been in our storeroom or tried on by models so some undocumented minor handling (which includes minor fabric flaws and may also extend to beadwork) should be expected. Again, we do pore over garments for flaws and have had very, very few complaints over the years but we do enforce this policy. Expect items, especially light-colored items, to require dry-cleaning.

We do not accept returns because of poor fit. We do measure our pieces carefully but there are a variety of ways and points in which a piece can be measured (ie the inside shoe width is narrower than the outside). We do expect our customers to know their size in a brand as all houses cut differently. Our measurements are guides only and not a ground for return.

What is ground for a return? It's not our fault if you don't read the listing and return policy which is strict. We will offer a return if the item is verified inauthentic. We will accept a return if the item has a catastrophic irreperable design defect (ie no armholes) - although if we can get the piece on the mannequin we expect you can get it on yourself; 4) If we significantly mislabel fiber content (ie we say it's silk and it's really wool - not if we say it's charmeuse and it's really duchesse).

If we do offer a return, shipping and insurance fees are not refundable.

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.

Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
