Kit’s Flea and KitsFlea.com is owned and operated by Cris and David Iskiwitch. David comes from a long career in customer service and sales and Cris comes from a career of retail management and customer service. Between them, they have 45 years in sales and service experience.
Cris started on eBay in 2004, as a buyer. In 2005 we decided to try our hand at selling, starting with a few items around the home. The name Kit’s Flea refers to the type of store we operate, along the order of a flea market.
Not wanting to work for others any longer, we decided to make internet retail a fulltime job. So, in January of 2008 we jumped in with both feet. In the mood to clean out, Cris began listing items she had in storage, including Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, Charming Tails and other collectibles she has collected over the years. Seeing how fast her things were selling, we began shopping flea markets, garage sales, discounters, etc. to find the best value in items. Not to mention some of the liquidators selling on eBay. We've also started taking in consignment items from friends, neighbors and other businesses.
We understand and strive to offer the best customer service we can. We value your feedback and work very hard to earn your positive comments/ratings. If there is ever a problem, please contact us at info@kitsflea.com before leaving negative feedback and we will be happy to work with you to reach a satisfactory conclusion.
EBay has instituted a new facet to their feedback that can be confusing. Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) is the 5 star rating system that appears when you leave feedback. It can both reward AND penalize a seller. This is how it works:
A buyer is told that a Star Rating of "4" is good and that a "5" is for exceptional. EBay will penalize a seller for not maintaining a rating of 4.5 or higher and will reward for over 4.6, which simply means that a "4" is not a good rating. For every "4" that a seller receives, it takes 19 "5"s to offset the "4."
It is our intention to offer the best customer service experience possible and ask that when you are filling out the DSR, please take the above into consideration.
