WHY BUY SECONDHAND?

I have been involved with cameras and photography since 1956 so I`m quite familiar with most film cameras in all formats. I consider Ebay the ultimate shopping trip and if, you`re like me and spend all hours of the night looking at the many goodies on offer or you`re just beginning a passionate affair with photography, Ebay is the world`s biggest shop that offers something for everyone. What a lucky sod I am to be doing this for a living! I try to describe the items that are for sale as accurately as possible and make some effort in providing the best images possible, as it obviously helps with your decision on what you`re buying. As a result of new camera and photographic sales, a large amount of pre-loved, (in most cases) items arrive (temptation?), so listing them on Ebay allows you to purchase wherever you are the world. Buying second hand can be a very economical means of entry into photography and sometimes the only way of finding that rare item suitable for your collection.
