How we began .....
In May of 2003, we attended eBay University in Columbus, Ohio with the intent of selling some of our personal collections. We quickly realized that selling on the eBay Marketplace could easily be a full-time job and with a lot of hard work and dedication, a profitable business. That is when Metz's Trading Post was created in June of 2003.
The Metz's Trading Post team .....
Metz's Trading Post is a family affair and currently consists of: Dave Metz, Shelly Metz-Morrison (daughter) and Eric Morrison (son-in-law). Each team member is assigned specific duties in order to bring you the best possible quality in product, as well as, top-notch customer service with a 100% guarantee of satisfaction.
What we sell .....
Metz's Trading Post is a collectibles-based eBay Store. We originally started the selling process with Magazine collections. Shortly afterwards, we added Longaberger products (Baskets, Pottery, Wrought Iron, etc.) to our inventory. While the current focus is Longaberger, we plan to add additional collectibles to our inventory and have recently done so by adding DVDs to the mix.
And we are working on the Metz's Trading Post website to augment our eBay Store - check it out to watch our progress.

What is Longaberger?
The Longaberger Company was founded in 1978 by Dave Longaberger in Dresden, Ohio. Dave learned the art of basket-making from his father, J.W. Longaberger. Each exquisite Basket is handmade from hardwood maple, featuring the Longaberger logo burned into the bottom, with the date and weaver's initials guaranteeing it's authenticity. Over time, The Longaberger Company has added Liners, Protectors, Lids and Tie-Ons to personalize each Basket, as well as, Pottery, Wrought Iron and WoodCrafts products to their ever-expanding line.
