I'm not a fanatical collector, but there are definitely
some things that pique my interest, including:
I am an audio book fan and seem to drive around quite a bit each day, so I have plenty of time to enjoy the best (and, alas, the worst) of audio books. My favorite genres are history and thrillers. I have at least 75 in my personal library, and I've listened to them all!
Another category I track is old encyclopaedias, atlases and dictionaries; if you have something of this nature for sale, drop me a note (particularly early to mid 1800's material, and doubly-so if it's focused on etymology).
I also have a collection of older comic books that I'm slowly selling, both American and English. Not a passion of mine any more, so I'd rather they found a home with someone who would enjoy them.
Finally, I'm "one of those" Mac people, and I get a variety of brand-new Macintosh software packages that I'll sometimes try to sell through eBay.
I have my own Web site (you can have a peek) but I'll offer a sentence or two summary here: I'm a combination of writer, Internet strategist, entrepreneurial management consultant, and teacher. I currently am involved with two different start-up companies at the executive level, am babysitting some interesting new book ideas, and even teach occasionally at the local university.
More important than my technical and professional interests, however, is my family. I have a beautiful and talented wife, a gorgeous 7 1/2 year-old daughter, a 4 year-old boy and a new baby girl who are the lights of my life.
